Watched all of Chris's videos before purchasing this weapon. Take down for inspection before purchase showed Ruger really had put in a short hammer hinge pin, and the bolt pin fell out when I took the weapon down. Almost decided against purchasing the weapon. I had done an MCarbo Trigger Spring kit on my M&P Shield. That kit made it my new favorite handgun. So I took the chance. Made the purchase, purchased the MCarbo upgrades; Mussell brake, Flat Trigger, EE Extractor, Shock Buffer, A2 Tool pin kit, and this Trigger pin kit. ALL installed and performed as advertised. Well worth it. Great shooting, reliable carbine.
I would like to start with the fact the MCarbo Team lives up to their pledge. They not only delivered in a timely manner they kept giving updates on the shipment. As for the Ruger PC Carbine Stainless Steel Trigger Group Pin Kit it functioned as described. They went in well they were considerable titer than the Ruger pins I think this would be a must have if you strip your gun for cleaning. and I look forward to years of carefree shooting. Great products, Great company.
Sorry I did not check spelling or grammar on my review earlier. That is on me not MCarbo LOL! I would like to start with the fact the MCarbo Team lives up to their pledge. They not only delivered in a timely manner they kept giving updates on the shipment. As for the Ruger PC Carbine Stainless Steel Trigger Group Pin Kit it functioned as described. They went in well they were considerable tighter than the Ruger pins. I think this would be a must have, if you strip your gun for cleaning. I look forward to years of carefree shooting. Great products, Great company.
Just installed the Pin Kit along with all the other internal upgrades. Great replacement for the loose stock pins. Super easy to install watching the excellent video by M*Carbo.
Great parts great prices an makes take down much simpler!
These stainless steel trigger group pins are higher quality and actually fit better than the stock pins. These pins will keep all parts of the trigger group in place and with in manufacture specifications.
I was able to use the Hammer pin and bolt stop pin but the trigger pin just wouldn't go in even when trying to tap it in. I ended up putting the factory trigger pin back in. I saw another review on here saying the same thing. Its probably an issue with Ruger tolerances. I didn't want to force the pin in either because I didn't want to chance cracking the plastic trigger housing. The pins themselves are good quality.
The one pin for the bolt catch latch was worth the whole package. The stock pin always fell out when I removed the trigger group from the receiver allowing the latch and underlying spring to fall out. The spring could be hard to find if it fell onto the floor. The new pin’s much snugger fit is a lifesaver. Thanks.
Pins defiantly look and fit better than the stock pins than don't even span the full with of the trigger housing. How to videos where great. Anyone with minimal mechanical skills will be able to improve their platform wit these parts.
In the process of trying to install the trigger pin ... the hammer spring went flying and is gone ... ended up having to buy a volquartsen trigger group as the factory trigger became useless and ruger wanted me to ship the whole gun back ......
When compared to the stock pins, you can see the difference in quality...when installing you feel the tighter fit...highly recommend!
lost round count at around 4200, still rolling.
The factory pins definitely needed an upgrade and these are it! As soon as you install them, you notice the improvement
Pins fit great however the hammer hinge pin is a bit tight, was a bit of a struggle getting it in but it goes through.
For $8.00 can’t go wrong. Wouldn’t necessarily buy it all by itself. But if buying any other parts, why not included this. Fast Shipping even during COVID-19.
I found the middle pin likes to fall out.
