This part has made my pmr 30 run 100%. No more jams . I got this feed ramp and the mag release upgrade . If you have a pmr 30 you really should buy these parts
Purchased the new divergent feed ramp ( not to long ago I upgraded to the mark1, had I known) but the video convinced me McB had reopened the book. Installed the frame stiffener at the same time. Had already upgraded the recoil spring, guide rod and mag release when installing the Mark 1 ramp. As I had previously changed out the take down pin, with upgrade from Keltec years ago like so many other owners , paying for an expensive buffer with a pin was slight over kill, so I purchased a soft aluminum buffer for $20. Took this to the range yesterday and did two mag dumps without issue. So highly recommend, now all I need is a target match barrel ?
After watching the video, the installation went quite smoothly with the exception of the small spring. I highly recommend the stainless steel feed ramp. To test the ramp I used three different brands of ammo. The first was Armscor 40 gr. JHP. Shot 40 rounds with no problems with feeding. Second was CCI Maxi-mag 40 rounds shot well. Third was norma JHP. It had feeding issues with it. Overall, I would highly recommend it.
Put one in a PMR-30 and a CMR-30, both were a vast improvement in reliability. Awesome product.
Part must be polished or it hangs worse than the original feed ramp. I tried the feed ramp unpolished first, every other she'll failed. After polishing the feed ramp works like a dream. So don't forget to get the polishing kit. I rated it at 3 stars because they should have stated that polishing was absolutely.necessary.
It’s a bit challenging to get the spring aligned with the hole in the slide release, but once in it works great! I use many sizes of ammo (30 - 40 grain) and it runs like a sewing machine! I didn’t know the part was actually.012 out of spec until MCarbo contacted me, and although it worked great, they sent me a new one just to be sure. That’s American company pride!
Worth every penny. Elevates the PMR/CMR from range guns to duty guns.
I love the 22WMR round and was excited to get my PMR30; but I had at least one feed issue every magazine. I got this feed ramp and installed it (not the easiest, but I got it done) and put several magazines thru without one issue! And I used three different rounds.
I recommend buying their recommended tool to install this component, because getting the tiny spring set is a bit troublesome without. That being said, this ramp is truly essential over the cheap plastic feedramp the PMR comes with. Do not hesitate to get this.
