Easy to install works great, improved feeding 100% on my PMR and CMR 30's. Fast shipping
After installing the Enhance Mag Release, I noticed a small gap in the frame above the release. The release was also dragging a little so I took it out and measured it with some calipers and it was .020" wider than the stock release. I sanded it down, reinstalled and everything is good. After installing this, the mcarbo recoil springs and the mcarbo feed ramp my new PMR-30 runs perfect. Only 4 stars for this part because of the extra rework I still recommend it highly.
My PMR 30 WAS A BIG DISSAPOINTMENT. It mis-fed every 3 to 4 rounds. I purchased the enhanced magazine release and the extra power recoil spring (just for good measure) and installation was simple. Although that little wire retainer on the recoil spring is a bitch. All problems were cured!! Fired 30 rounds just a fast as I could pull the trigger without any jams. Thanks MCARBO!! Think my next upgrade will be the stainless steel feed ramp.

This along with the steel feed ramp and catch up kit has turned my PMR30 into a perfect functioning gun. Honestly get the All in One kit that includes everything and the better trigger. I wish I had. I bought one of these mag releases for my CMR30 because it was supposed to fit but once installed it would not lock the mags in place. They just fell right out. I'm a bit disappointed in that. But will contact customer service to see if there is a fix for that.
When I had a feeding problem on all 5 magazines I Googled it and ordered the parts immediately. Also installed the feed ramp. In my install the magazines raised up about .04" with the enhanced magazine release. When combined with the new polished feed ramp the PMR30 is fun to shoot again. Every PMR30 that comes through my shop will leave with these upgrades. Excellent product!
So, I've installed this enhanced mag release without much difficulty. My only problem now is that the slide doesn't want to release from the slide stop when I rack it. This only happens when there's an empty magazine in and I'm trying to rack and release it. When there are bullets in the magazine, the slide racks and releases without any issues from the slide stop. I just hope this will not be an issue when I'll take the gun out to the range.
I ordered the "Enhanced Mag Release" basically for something to add to my weapon not realizing the true value this added. Installation was relatively straight forward. I did the full take-down when I installed the mag release because I was installing the SS feed ramp at the same time. Installing the mag release while the gun is apart makes installation a breeze. Make sure to watch the new instruction video before installation. They cover everything in the video to help make your at home installation as easy as possible. The video makes the point that there is play between the base of the magazine & mag well with the factory parts in place. I had no idea this was an issue until I saw the video. I removed the slide from my weapon & confirmed that the top of my inserted magazine sat a little below the factory feed ramp. Pushing the magazine up from the bottom helped align the magazine better with the factory feed ramp. After installing the enhanced mag catch, I re-inspected the alignment on the magazine in relation to the feed ramp. The magazine definitely sat higher which better aligned it with the feed ramp. There was also very little gap / play between the bottom of the magazine & the mag well. This part did exactly what it claimed it would do. The enhanced mag release button is also more ergonomic than the factory part. To me, it was easy & simple to engage. I highly recommend the "Enhanced Mag Release"!!
Out of the box, my CMR30 gave me a ton of trouble. Kel Tec actually recommended MCARBO. After the feedramp and mag release upgrades I've had zero problems in 200 rounds. I also avoided the greater disassembly to install them by removing the slide catch entirely, which seemed unnecessary to me on this model without also being a slide release (my LCP never had one, and that's fine with me). MCARBO transformed my gun into something actually viable in a defense role!
It works great and the way Kel-Tec should have made theirs. I like that it's made of plastic, because it keeps the weight down. It's one of the reasons why I love this gun because of the weight of it.
Such a simple part with easy install, but it really does make a noticeable difference.
Was a little skeptical at first, but after installation it was apparent that this is a must have part. You can instantly see the benefits of the new mag release. Great product and a great buying experience.

Luckily I didn’t NEED this part for my CMR-30, but wanted to try MCarbo products, so why not. Had to call and correct my address which they did FAST and shipped it fast. You can see the difference in quality from the factory part easily. Install wasn’t bad and it functions amazing.
