Great product. Much larger than OEM and easier to deploy. Easy to install with the GREAT installation videos y'all have.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but ordered it as " the last " upgrade I "needed" for my Kel-tec K2000 9mm multi mag. The Kel-tec is my "traveling tool" and the Rapid Deployment Latch sounded like "just the thing". The RDL arrived promptly, was securely packed, and installed in about 10 minutes afterward. It IS "just the thing." With one thumb deployment is much easier, the lock up for storage is positive and secure. If you have a Kel-tec just BUY one. You won't be disappointed. I've installed the MCARBO Pro trigger (flat face) kit, easy. Just follow along with the video. The upgrades have certainly made it "mission capable." Thank you
Had no problems with this install or the item itself, watched the install video and installed in seconds, works great, very easy to operate.
The RDL is just mediocre in my opinion. Yes it's nice to have a bigger latch for more purchase. But the main reason I got it is so I could put my tube cover on and still be able to latch it shut. Even during the insulation video it says with the new latch it should close shut with out a problem. The tube cover I got from Mcarbo will not allow the Sub to completely latch. Big let down when it comes to that.
Upgraded RDL is awesome. Outstanding design, fabrication and durability. Much improved function. Very innovative.
The stock latch doesn't work very well with the Red Lion Forend. It just doesn't catch. I was hoping that the RDL would be a lot better. It actually is only little better, as it takes very little effort to unfold the gun with the RDL installed. In other words, one doesn't have to pull back on the RDL to unlock the latch. There isn't enough hook on the latch to adequately catch the rim of the forend.

doesn't slide as smoothly as the existing one, it's pretty wobbly, and it is a really tight fit with the red lion front sight
Probably not worth the money Not much difference vs the stock one.. I've purchased almost every upgrade.. if you haven't spend the money on a different upgrade
Latches better than the stock latch when you have protector over the stock. Easy to install.
Certainly an improvement. Simple but effective. Watch the installation video. That little spring is important and easy to lose.
Simple but once you use it you’ll love it. I had it installed during the intro on the installation video, if you’ve done any work on your sub this will be a snap to put on and once it’s on the ease of use is great. Simple but you’ll wish you had it the whole time
Very simple upgrade that is well worth it.
This part was easy to install thanks to the videos. It totally improved the way the gun unfolds. and can be done with one hand.
For me the whole point of this firearm is rapid deployment, so to be able to deploy with 1 finger is key. Install was quick and simple. Quality part from the guys at MCARBO.
