Wanted it for velocitor and interceptor ammo. Works great with those 2. Slide don't lock back anymore when there is ammo in clip.
Nothing against the spring but in MY particular Lite Rack using CCI mini mags in it, out of about a 100 rounds, it had one failure to feed and one failure to eject. When I put back the factory spring it ran fine for a few more hundred rounds. Although guns are the 'same' there is no true way they can be the 'same.' You have to find what works for YOUR gun with the ammo YOU use. It could have been a whole other story with another Lite Rack with the same ammo, or my Lite Rack with different ammo. I'm just glad we have M-Carbo so we can try different springs out to see what works.
Coupled this spring with the stainless steel guide rod, and the complete spring kit and turned a little flaw filled pistol into a smoother running, more reliable gun. Great quality, would highly recommend if you are experiencing FTF problems.
Before installing this recoil spring, I'd have 3 or 4 FTF per 100 rounds. So far, since your spring install, 250 rounds with same ammo: NO FAILURES TO FEED.

This little gun is picky about which ammo you feed it. With this spring I no longer have failure to feed issues with most ammo. There's still a couple brands that will but they seem to have a very slightly larger bullet diameter. Much improved over original spring. Thanks!

I was ready to dump this gun. It would FTF 7 out of 10 rounds.I decided to try this spring as a last resort. I fired 100 rounds last night and had no FTF. Very pleased. Thanks
In both mine and my wife's it eats out anything we feed it now. Highly recommend this for the triple deuce.
The recoil spring made a big improvement in the amount of FTF malfunctions. Will purchase another one for when I get another LCP 22.

Makes CCI Standard Velocity 22 lr work flawlessly. I coupled the spring’s installation with M Carbo’s stainless recoil rod.
While this spring does add a bit of an extra kick, it tends to cause jamming issues. After trying 5 different types of ammo with varying grain counts I cannot go through 20 rounds without at least 2-3 jamming issues. Some ammo (Remington golden bullet .22lr 40gr round nose 1255fps velocity) would jam 5-6 rounds per 10 round magazine. After reinstalling the factory spring and guide rod there wasn't a single jamming issue with all 5 types of ammo after testing 100 rounds of each.
Installed the spring and went right to the range. Pistol worked perfectly with four different types of .22 LR. No malfunctions. A quality product from a great company.
