I purchased a KEL=TEC PMR 30. Prior to firing it I went to KEL-TEC and had them install it to avoid the loss of the warranty. Sometime later I and family went to a range where for the first time the weapon was fired. 6o rounds later I had one miss fire. NO flat of the weapon, the cartridge was bad. I find the weapon and kit are well worth the price. I carry it most of the time and find it to be most assuring, having the experience many years ago having shot several rounds of 22 WMR from a revolver through six inches of solid wood. I believe the modified PMR to be the answer for self-defense in this age of lawlessness and evil.
I got one of these kits and love how it transformed my PMR. The trigger is far better, the rounds load better and the whole experience is much better. Got another one for my brother and his new PMR for his birthday.

I ordered the kit. I got it In and shipped to keltec for installation. Got it back and trigger wasn’t In the kit ( should have been). I contacted Mcarbo. They were receptive and said to mail in and they would make it right. Aside for the shipping charges and extra time not having my gun…. I got it back and all is well. Thanks Mcarbo for working with me and getting me taken care of.
I bought this kit for my PMR-30. Easy to install, just follow the well done video. Cures a couple of problems with the gun. Now my only problem is the gun really goes thru ammo, but really fun to shoot. Get the kit, you’ll love your gun even more!
Received my all in one bundle and went to work. In shooting a few rounds of my brand new Keltec PMR-30 it did keep jamming after each round. I just waited until my bundle came and after 1 hour and 48 minutes and a few choice words my wife and got er done. It fired 5 rounds and jammed. 3rounds and jammed the 4 and jammed. I kept loosening screws and it works better with 30 -36 grain bullets. I like it and need the buffer and anything else Chris and the fellow brothers come up with. I love my red trigger!!
this was definitely a good decision for my PMR 30 upgrade, the quality of the parts are well thought out. the feed ramp looks like a mirror after I polished it and compared to the factory ramp, 1000% better. and the red trigger upgrade, my PMR 30 looks awesome. Thank You for your PMR 30 upgrades.
I finally got to try out the PMR30 upgrade kit today after getting it installing several weeks ago. Right after getting it installed, I had back surgery so today was the day. The first three rounds went down range without any problem. Then all of a sudden the trigger wouldn’t reset. FALSE ALARM!!! I had bumped the safety in my excitement. Once I calmed down, it shot flawlessly. This particular gun always cycled pretty well, but not perfect. Everyone needs at a minimum the upgraded buffer and take down pin, but if you can afford the kit, it is money well spent. I loaded 2 mags with 30 grain Hornady V max bullets and 2 mags with 40 grain CCI. it was flawless with 100 rounds. We need a mag loader for the P17. 😀😀 Thank you MCARBO for the great products. P. S. Definitely made my PMR more reliable. Did have to grind a ridge off the plate that pushes the cartridge into the chamber to eliminate the last failures to feed. Some PMRs have this ridge. It was large enough to catch the base of the cartridge. Now 150 rounds with one FTF.

This kit is nearly perfect, hopefully next gen includes the aluminum slide stop, and a must have if you own a PMR-30! As always, quality replacement parts that will turn you good PMR-30 into a great PMR30.
these upgrades turn this gun from good to frickin' awesome. between the feed ramp and the trigger, it's a night and day difference. the improved mag release helps to cut down on the unintentional mag drops. my biggest complaint was the spring on the feed ramp's connection to the release bar...that kicked my butt a little bit, but i eventually got it. once it got it all back together, it was a totally different firearm altogether.
The newest edition of the PMR 30 is a wonderful, effective, and fun handgun. However, this kit will take your fine semi-auto into the realm of superlative. Featuring very nicely made parts, these replacement pieces will prevent or resolve any of the jamming or feed issues you may or may not have experienced. I will stick with 40 grain bullets, but I wouldn't be surprised if these upgrades allow the use of lighter bullets and fps loads. I highly recommend this "all-in-one" upgrade, and you can't get better service from Chris and the staff at M-Carbo.
