I purchased two of these all in one kits for my PMR 30's. I like how the PMR 30's handle with the upgrades. Well worth the investment in my PMR 30's. I just wish they had a drop in recoil spring assembly as part of the all in one kits. I lost a part of the 1st all in one recoil assembly when disassembling the factory recoil spring assembly and had to order a new one from Kel Tec to rob the part I lost... Then on my 2nd all in one kit I had the supplied "snap ring" bounce off the assembly when I tried to put it on and had to order a replacement from MCARBO.. Sure would be nice if MCARBO offered a complete ready to drop in recoil spring assembly...
been a while sense i installed kit. finally got out to shoot. mixed bag of shells 10 yrs. old five jams 140 rounds. not bad! 3 mags. each cci 22a cci v-max hornady 30gr. v-max federal 40 gr.1880 fps. all rounds i have had trouble with. problem solved!! about time for new buffer. thank you guy's.
Just finished installing bundle. All the parts seem to be of excellent quality although I haven't fired the weapon yet. I think the feed ramps will be the biggest improvement. I would highly recommend viewing the video as you are installing as Chris does an excellent job of narrating! Even someone with 2 left hands should be able to get r done! Now all we need is for ammo prices to come back down to pre covid status and we'll all be better off!

The kit was easy to install esp. after watching the how to video a half dozen times first. I did not need a micro screwdriver to split the case, simply working the case with fingers got it apart, (very cleanly). The spring shank was very sharp around all the edges ( cut fingers on it 3 times ) and did not use it in the end. I pulled the slide stop bar out and assembled the ramp and bar then installed ( easy). The slide springs were easy ( used mini eye glass screwdriver to remove lock wire), just holding the assembly in left hand and refitting the lock wire into place (w/ mini needle nose pliers). I pinched the Mag release spring between fingers and installed without the alignment pin ( easy). I did not use the flat trigger, looks weird and feels even more weird ( to me ), OEM trigger I like, hope they make a rounded aluminum factory replacement soon. BTW, Mothers Mag Polish and a Harbor Freight dremel Polishing kit worked perfect for the feed ramp. Now it's just a place and time to test my new ( only 3 rounds thru it Before I upgraded) PMR30 out.

I now have a paperweight that used to be a PMR-30! When separating the halves, it just exploded everywhere when the trigger spring came off. Pieces went everywhere! I gathered everything up and tried to reassemble the receiver and spring as it was so effortlessly done in the video, and wham the pin I was trying to pull the spring down onto shot off and I can't find it. I am incredibly sorry I ever attempted this. If I can ever find that pin, I have no idea how I'm supposed to re-assemble this thing, since when you're pulling down on that spring to get it re-attached to the pin, it puts so much side load on the receiver it pulls out of the frame. When this thing is separated, the video shows everything just staying there. This is not likely! Beware!
I bought my PMR-30 on the cheap from a friend who candidly told me (and I witnessed first hand) that the firearm had serious reliability issues. I took the pistol apart and meticulously cleaned and lubed it...still a jam-o-matic. I then decided to purchase and have MCarbo install the "All-in-One" kit for the PMR-30, having had great results with other accessories that I'd purchased from them. After a reasonable amount of time, the PMR-30 was returned to me. I took it to the range and pew-pew'd over 500 rounds without any problems or drama. The firearm is now completely reliable and approved for high capacity carry during the coming zombie apocalypse! Thank you MCarbo for another accessory/job done well!
I am 67 yrs old and its hard to find a Gunsmith down south. So, I thought I would try my hand at installing all of the upgrades for my Original PMR 30 myself since I'm pretty much not going anywhere due to the current situation. I watched the video. Which was very good by the way. All went fairly well until I tried to replace the Recoil Springs. I tried and tried to get that little recoil spring catch off with little success until I tried a very small micro screwdriver that I had. By that time my hands were tired and decided to give it one more try. It was going well and was about to take off the little catch when the springs sprung and that was the last time I saw the lock ring and the Recoil spring catch. Would really have liked for a lock ring and Recoil catch to have been included in the package. You should really consider it. Need to take it apart again because the enhanced magazine release spring does not seem to have set right. OH Well. Looking forward to shooting my PMR 30 sometime in the future with all the improvements. Love the Product. Made in the USA. Thanks for your service.
Have yet to get the trigger to reset properly and the spring retainer was the wrong size and caused my spring to lock up.
I took about one hour to install all the items and operated flawless with a tested with digital trigger scale to be 1lb.15.9oz. Thanks so much for the great product. Hal

Totally fixed my pmr 30. Honestly can't believe they sell it without the upgrades and consider it a operational sidearm. Would recommend all day
