Didn’t think I could do the installation myself but everything went rather smoothly Other than my own mistakes. The PMR 30 shoots better 100%.
This is a great high quality upgrade kit for the PMR-30. Easy to install and finish polish the feed ramp, barrel feed. plenty of polish and pads to do several projects. Trigger was easy to install and set up. And they have a very good video walk through, makes it so easy. The only thing I would ask for is a good snap spring to retain the recoil spring asy. would be very nice.
Over all installation went well, trigger was a pain in the ass. Thanks for including the little wire for the springs, my old one launched never to be found again. Going to the range tommorow, we'll see how it works
Install was easy just follow the video .Took it out last weekend fired it 100 rounds only one stovepipe works great. Would like to see improved firing pin and extractors offered, along with a threaded barrel. Can’t wait for the optic mount to be available! 👍👍👍
I just wanted to start a two part review on this kit. I work for a private military aerospace contractor in the machine shop of said company. I am more than impressed with the quality and attention to detail of these parts. I have yet to install and test them but first impressions lead me to believe I will be a happy camper at the range. I'll include another review as time permits. I also want to thank Mcarbo for the follow up emails and professionalism. Not only are my parts top notch, but the shipping was lightning fast and there is a real sense of sincerity in the correspondence I recieved. I will give them as much of my business in the future as I possibly can based on these merits alone. Thank you gentleman.
First, I am very happy someone is helping with factory faults on most guns. But I have a few things I didn't like about this kit and thought you might make a few adjustments or not. The trigger adjustment screws are so small and pointed and land right in the middle of the pieces so it is already tearing away at the plastic. Seems like you could put a flat rounded, more esthetic screw in there. Something with ridges on it that you could adjust with a small screwdriver. (just a thought) Also the stainless feeder thing. Why would I have to polish something that could be done on your end way easier. I thought about keeping the cost down but then you offer a polishing kit? why not just put that money into the feeder? Good thought and pretty good kit with a few of my own upgrades too. Thanks again for your excellent support and speedy response! God bless you guys...
Installed the complete upgrade kit on my PMR 30. I watched the installation video which was very helpful. Everything went well with two exceptions. The new ramp feed spring, that connects in the hole on the left main frame, kept knocking the slide stop arm off the pivot point when I tried to snap the frame back together. I finally got that back together after several tries. The other problem was replacing the new stainless recoil spring guide lock ring. It's on, but doesn't look secure to me. I believe it would be a much easier installation, and more secure, if you could make a replacement stainless snap ring the correct size to fit. Please let me know what you think. Thank you M Carbo
After seeing videos and reading review s of the parts this company offered for this platform, I bought my PMR30 back from the guy I sold it to 3 years ago!!! And I’m SO glad I did. It went from horribly unreliable and unpredictable, to being able to shoot ANY 22WMR on the market. 30-50gr, JHP, SJHP, FP, VMAX, all of it! This is such a great fun gun to own now and wouldn’t sell it again. Full disclosure, I purchased all of these components EXCEPT the trigger. Install of everything was an absolute breeze after watching their YouTube video once.
All the parts in the bundle are what is needed to fix the faults of the PMR 30 pistol. The installation video impressed me the most, because I was able to install all the new parts with confidence that it was done correctly.
Awesome upgrades. This is how should have come from factory. Works SO much better. I have couple friends that will be ordering now that they have seen mine. Thank you for making these parts. I was debating getting rid of pistol until this. Fixed all problems I had with it! Love it!!
