The kit came in and all parts clearly identified . The online instruction video was excellent and I had no problem installing the entire kit , I took my time , did it in an hour and half . A 1000% difference in the way the pistols , fires and cycles . Would recommend this kit if you wanted to upgrade your PMR
I had no issues installing the kit. Some things took a bit of patience and perseverance, but overall pretty easy to install. The red trigger adds a bit of flare to the gun and tell others modifications have been done. The new feed ramp is a no brainer and should have been installed in new guns before the sale. I hope that will be the case. My gun functions smoothly and only have had one minor hiccup using Gold Speers. I've used 5 different ammo brands with no for seeable issues. I hope to wear the gun out in the next few years. Fun to shoot.
Everything fit very tight. That being said my mag release after I replaced it on my gun. It did not function properly. It wouldnt spring back out( yes I had the spring the right way). I found that part was alittle to wide because when I started taking the screws loose in the handle. The mag release worked fine. A little light sanding and work fine. All the other part fit perfect. Great company great parts. Will buy from again
I absolutely hated my my PMR30. Jam every other shot even though I took the time to slow load the magazines, it was so frustrating!! A friend told me about the MCARBO kit which I ordered. That same day. When the kit came I took it to a gunsmith and 3 days later I had the best running PMR30’s in 3 county’s!! It’s well worth the 240.00. I don’t know why Keltec does that just install the kits? Great job and thank you, MCARBO!!
I bought this kit for my wife because her PMR-30 would misfeed or stovepipe after around 6 or 7 rounds consistantly. Follow the instructions on the video to an absolute T. Double checked all of the Fasteners making sure they weren't too tight. Wife went out to test fire it, and upon charging the first round in it, fired fine, however, the following round failed to feed. Thereafter, it would fail to feed each and every single round attempted. Brought it back into the house, completely disassembled, brought up the video and reassembled exactly as it showed, took it back out to test it, failed to feed every single round. Wrote emails toM-carbo with regards to the matter, never heard from them. Finally, after several days, decided to give them a phone call. First tech that I talked to stated that it probably was due to a Magazine spring that needed upgrading or needed a new barrel. Called back a little bit later and spoke to another tech, that Tech helped me look at the barrel, and we determined it wasn't old Barrel that needed replacement through kel-tec. If it needed an upgraded mag spring, how can this be in all-in-one bundle without including mag spring? I have since sent the pistol back to Kel-Tec so that they can do the barrel upgrade and whatever upgrades are necessary, however I feel completely let down by M- carbo staff and Company in general with regards to customer service, not to mention the time and money that I have put out towards this disaster. Never thought that "upgrading" a pistol would make it completely useless! At least before the upgrade it would fire 6 or 7, now it won't even fire one!
Disappointed in some of the parts, the feed ramp spring and tool for that is a joke. The rest was fairly simple to do but bafter the first time to test the function it failed safety wasn't operable and I followed the instructions to the letter and watched the installation video several times. After numerous times of disassembling and reassembling it finally was operable. If I had it to do over the feed ramp and slide stop would be all I would do.
I bought the All In One bundle as well as the anodized aluminum slide release. Parts fit perfectly and the instructional videos make the upgrade do-able for just about anyone. Have yet to go the range to test fire but everything's operational with feeding & dry firing snap caps. Chris isn't kidding about not over-tightening the screws surrounding the trigger group! Had a dead trigger at the end of install but remedied by adjusting tension of the screws he emphasizes in the video. Can't wait to shoot again.
Your upgrades worked to perfection. I went to the range yesterday and shot 300 rounds without a single problem. This is the 4th gun I have used your products on and they have all worked great. Thank you
Online ordering is super-easy through the M-CARBO site. Even with the trigger on backorder, my kit arrived very quickly. Pre-watching the video made the task much easier to perform - and sending the video link through email to customers that buy the kit is a stroke of genius. I never disassembled a pistol before, and I never fired the PMR-30 prior to installing this kit. The install took about 3 hours; 20 minutes to build the gun and over 2 hours looking for the spring pin retaining wire! Please find a solution to Kel-Tec's problem there! (the buffer too) Took the gun to the range and was immediately confronted by a retired Army 11B naysayer who had nothing but bad things to say about the gun. He then watched in amazement as this gun cycled flawlessly and later asked me if I was a gunsmith. The M-CARBO kit makes this a gun worth owning and worth upgrading. THANK YOU!
If I had to sum it up - this kit makes the PMR30 feel solid. Don't be afraid of doing the work. Some steps, like the trigger spring and slide release connection, takes patience and perseverance, but it is doable. I didn't replace the recoil spring yet, but everything else. I'm intimidated by the little piano wire, but I will get to it. After I finished all the rest, took the PMR30 out and it worked flawlessly. Can't wait for the next 1000 rounds...
Ok so the title may be misleading but here it is I bought this kit thinking it was also for the cmr 30.....well it was like four parts the trigger, feed ramp, bolt release, and the safety selector. So what am I supposed to do with these parts I can't use? But a pmr30 I guess?

Fairly easy installation. The installation video is excellent. Most important, this kit will resolve all of your PMR30 malfunction issues. My PMR runs flawlessly. When using the loader, be careful not to cross stack the rounds
Easy installation. Takes about 45 minutes. Excellent results-no more ftf or having to short load magazines to make function. Worked flawlessly in both pistols.
This kit took my PMR-30 from the worst gun I own to the favorite to shoot. I was to the point of throwing this thing in the lake. I stumbled onto this kit to fix my problems and since installing this kit (which I did myself, I'm NOT a gunsmith) this gun has not jammed once. You guys are the best!
After essentially buying the Sub2000 kit piece by piece, I decided to get this kit whole and was not disappointed. Although I don’t get trading a plastic mag release for another plastic one? Everything is well thought out and whom ever came up with wedge thing to act as a stabilizing brace deserves a raise! Chris, I hate the way you make spring installation look so easy on all the videos. I’m very pleased, this is the fourth different platform I’ve upgraded with your parts.
