The kit does make the pistol perform better than without it ,these pistols are finicky to say the least and it enhances the functionality significantly . watch the instruction video, it’s got great advice on replacing the parts.

This kit is great, the video clearly explained all the steps, and I was able to just follow along and have my PMR upgraded in about 90 minutes!
it was in stock when i ordered it but it was on back order np only took a week parts came, easy installation, great quality only problem was with my mags still jammed was not the parts was due to mag even with speed loader still wont load right one mag is better than the other just have to shoot more and see what happens

Entire parts install took about 2 hrs. Did everything correctly but in hast I put the hammer in battery after my trigger adj failed to function due to too much pre adjustment. Failed to uncock the hammer and proceeded to dissemble. The main spring went Boom slipping off the lower pin. Didn't have a proper needle nose to muster the lower ppt of the spring in place. Having almost lost the pin 5 times-shipped it to Keltic.
MY PMR30 upgrade kit came within a work-week, which I consider exceptional in late 2020! I would caution anyone trying to make these upgrades to make sure you have all the tools and a good working knowledge before you start. Every package in the kit is clearly labeled for modifications to be made ONLY by a trained armorer. After carefully looking at the parts, and the "innerds" of the PMR30, I paid my local gun shop $35 to make all the changes. My only complaint was that the armorer didn't adjust the trigger, so I only made it through 2 magazines before I needed assistance. It was a small adjustment, but you have to have the correct tool to make it. The rapid loader makes a BIG difference. It isn't completely intuitive, but once you've got the hang of it you can fly through loading. All in all - great product with quick and accurate service. You can't really ask for more than that.
This is definitely worth the price as it has everything you would ever want and need to upgrade. I have never done any gunsmithing in my 40 years of shooting, but the improved mag release to avoid the shaky mag fit, the aluminum feed ramp, the excellent buffer and improved spring and the strengthening wedge all were straight forward to install. I would recommend using a small vice grip wrench or small pipe wrench to hold the spring down when you are installing the retaining clip. I laid everything out like the video and went step by step. It is a well done instruction video telling you what to do and just as important what watch out for to avoid any issues. Plus you keep all of your old parts if you are not happy with the new ones. I liked this so much, that I am ordering another parts kit today for my second PMR.

Installed the bundle kit on the PMR30. This is a very good upgrade and would recommend it for any owner. I watched the install video pryer to install and used it during the install for further point clarity several items. It was very helpful and made the install easier. My install went very well. Instructor is very good with his instructions and tips. The reassembly went better than I thought it would. Lay every thing out, follow the video and take your time, It was a enjoyable experience.
Instruction video was easy to follow. Had fun tearing apart my brand new gun! 1. Cleared place in front of computer 2. Lay down clean towel and parts tray 3. Unpackaged all parts preparing for disassembly 4. Got dressed 5. Drive to store to get 2.5mm allen wrench. WTH!

I ordered this kit for both of our PMR-30s. I am not handy at all and despite my best efforts I had a dead trigger after my installation. The parts are great. My skill as a gunsmith sucks. I sent both pistols and the parts to Mcarbo and they installed everything and quickly shipped the pistols back. I can’t say enough good things about the professionalism and exceptional customer service of this outfit. You can certainly tell that you are dealing with veterans. A+ all the way.
