I'm going to start out this review by writing how well the product was packaged, amazing ! Very well machined parts and the installation video Chris did was awesome. Fast shipping was great!
Installed, after 200 rounds later definitely a big improvement and feel over the old trigger, it being wider profile helps alot.
This is a review of all of the above: For starters, I have learned that there’s no sense in purchasing just one item for your gun at MCARBO when they offer more! You already have your gun apart so go for the gusto. The instructional videos at MCARBO are outstanding. They cover it all. I recommend watching the instructional videos multiple times before you begin your installs. Make sure you have all the required tools (as outlined in the videos) before you begin. Then...just follow the video. It helps to have the video playing on an iPad to give you a direct reference while doing your mods. The trigger pull is noticeably better after my install. The combination of the flat trigger & reduced power springs really help. The SS rod guide & heavy duty take-down spring are just common sense items that require no explanation or review. Thanks again MCARBO for manufacturing quality, affordable parts that enhance our toys! An extended magazine would be something you guys might consider next!!
I wasn't too impressed with the sideways trigger slop. The creep and return adjusted out pretty well
I finally got to the range today to check out my LCP after installing the Flat Trigger. I have installed the Flat Trigger, Trigger Spring Kit, Guide Rod, and Take Down Pin on my LCP. These upgrades have turned my Backup EDC into a nice reliable unit. The trigger was much nicer than the stock trigger and better than the Peacemaker that I originally replaced the stock trigger with. I highly recommend all of the available LCP upgrades from MCarbo.
I do like feel of trigger but to much side to side movement however I look at brothers lcp his is older model his has same amount of movement I never checked mine before I installed it also when trigger resets I do notice it clicks twice before setting never heard it with fact trigger
I bought the trigger kit and it’s still sitting on the counter as I wait for the instruction video to be released. Seriously this is the last time I deal with this company, I have called and emailed about this, why would you sell a product without first producing instructions on how to install it?
Trigger kit was easy to install after watching the instruction video by Chris. No more trigger bite and a much more defined pull. Thanks again for the superb service and products. Fletcher.
I do like the trigger and combined with the spring kit made the trigger pull on the LCP significantly better. However I did have so issues with the installation. The video instructions did not mention to use the pin supplied with the kit which I discovered when taking the set screws out of their bag. I had just finished installing the old pin with some difficulty. Also the front set screw would not thread into the trigger so I was not able set the pull but as this is certainly not a target pistol it's not a big deal but would have been nice to get what I paid for.

No pain in the finger after the trigger up grade, before the upgrade after 15 shots or so my finger would be killing me, after the up grade no pain in the finger a very big difference.

Love this trigger upgrade kit. Let's you set your forward and backwards trigger travel. Much better than stock trigger ! Trigger kit and spring kit together are a great upgrade. Was leery about losing the safety factor of the stock trigger hard pull. After installing both kits , I feel that there is still a safety factor with the upgrade. Much better feeling trigger and trigger pull !!
I installed the red trigger but have not shot it. LOVE the color and how it looks. Don't do this without the spring kit upgrade. It is worth the time especially since you get so far into the takedown. Another amazing video that is all the help you will need. Take your time on the set screws. I thought I had mine set just right and had to take it back apart to adjust the front screw as it would not allow the trigger bar to reengage the hammer.
I purchased the trigger kit along with spring kit and all other upgrades available from Mcarbo. They totally transform the feel and function of the LCP. Installation is simple and straightforward with a few basic tools. I highly recommend them as a "must do".
