This is not the first Mcarbo AR trigger spring kit I have purchased, and it probably won't be my last. My new (for Christmas) DB-15 AR Pistol had a stiff trigger with a gritty pull. As soon as the Mcarbo AR trigger spring kit arrived, I installed it while again watching their excellent and easy to understand video installation instructions. Total time involved was less than 10 minutes, and once again the results were amazing with reduced trigger pull weight and now a very smooth trigger pull with no more 'gritty' feeling. Photos show the before and after trigger pull weights, and what little you need for the installation. Instead of paying a LOT more for expensive trigger replacements, I highly recommend any AR shooter try the Mcarbo trigger spring kit first. Foe a mere $12.95, you won't be disappointed.
I have two AR 15 rifles so I ordered 3 spring sets so I would have an extra on if I ever needed it later. The first one took me just over two minutes to install and the second one was done in half that time. Both guns have a noticeable change in the trigger pull so I would say its a go for me.
Ordered the new AR spring kit. Received it in 2 days . Installed it in about 5 minutes. Have not shot the gun yet but can really tell the difference in trigger pull just from dry fire. Thanks for a great product with fast service. And thank all of y'all for your service.
Fits perfectly seems lighter than mil- spect haven’t any way to test pull weight, will be going out to run some 556 in 8.5 pistol build soon 👍
I received the package in the mail in a timely manner, installation was a breeze, took 2 minuets and let me tell you it made more of a difference in the feel of the mil spec trigger than I thought. For comparison I have a drop in Velocity PCC trigger on one of my AR's that is about 3.5 lbs and just the spring swap from MCARBO it feels just as light and almost just as crisp as the drop in trigger. I will definitely be dropping one in my AR10.
The hammer spring was very easy to install and appears to function check as advertised. The installation video was very easy to follow and per the video decreased trigger pull significantly! Can't wait to try it at the range!
Super easy to install and works very well on both my AR's. Definitely would recommend to anyone who would like to give their trigger finger a little break from a long range day workout.
I couldn't pass these up on the 20% off Labor Day sale. My AR triggers were creepy and the pulls were so-so. After putting in the MCARBO springs my two AR's pulls went from 6lb. 9oz. and 6lb. 3 oz. to 5lb. 4 oz. and 4lb. 15 oz. respectively. Best of all the creep is now gone, the pull is more crisp, they're safe, and no need for non-mil spec anti walk cross pins for an expensive drop in trigger. I haven't gotten to shoot them yet, but I am sure they will function fine. Great inexpensive upgrade for my AR sporting purposes.
It works like it is listed. Start with a good trigger group and it will give you a silky smooth 4.5# (+/-) pull. Keep in mind no spring will remove the gritty feel of most factory milspec triggers. The results of this upgrade depends on the quality of your trigger group.
