I'm an engineer and new to building AR-15's. I put an MCarbo Trigger spring kit into my Ruger Mini-14 and it truly was a trigger spring kit. For the AR-15 there is a Trigger Spring and a Hammer Spring so as an engineer...the 'Trigger Spring Kit' is misleading. This really is a Hammer Spring Kit that reduces the Trigger Pull. It is a great modification and works as described..Please put Hammer Spring somewhere on the package.
Hey Folks, Have a stock Bushmaster XM-15 E2S with factory trigger pull measured by my gauge at an average of 7.6lb and ranging from 7.4-8.0lb. After installing this spring my pull weight is down to a 6.6lb average with range from 6.3 to 6.9lb. (Tried each 7 times). I also applied the Synthetic Grease with PTFE to the hammer and sear during the trigger install. So my trigger pull reduction is about 1lb, but also very noticeable is a much cleaner and more crisp break of the trigger that I am very happy with. This is the second trigger spring kit I have ordered from M*Carbo (the first being for a Savage AXIS) and I have been very pleased both times with the results for the price. Spring came in a timely manner. Installed it and was very happy with the results. Cut my trigger pull in half.
I have purchased 4 of these and installed 3. I think total installation time is maybe 20 minutes for all 3. And I am new to tinkering with the innerds. My trigger pull went from 6.5 or 7 to 4.5. What a difference. Still very safe. I love these.
Delivery was fast and product is good quality. Replaced the stock 6.5 lb spring in my Springfield Saint And can instantly tell the spring is more “predictable” and a MUCH smoother/lighter pull. Just as advertised. A 2lb difference that feels like a 4lb difference. Great quality and will get plenty of use for sure. Thanks, job well done guys. Highly recommend.
Made my heavy pull Sig M400 and Anderson AR's so much more accurate with this kit. A pleasure to shoot now. Watch the install video....so easy to complete.
This inexpensive (under $20) trigger spring is a must have to improve an AR mil-spec trigger.
Ran these springs in three different AR pistols and rifles chambered in 7.62x39. Shooting both cheap steel case and brass ammo there was not one light primer strike.
Purchased this spring for my M4.. reduced the trigger pull by 2lbs and is smooth and crisp!
I have a colt 6920 and the trigger was good but heavy. This one inexpensive spring makes all the difference. Easy to install and you don't need a device to feel the difference. Arrived promptly, easy installation, does what it's intended purpose is, and doesn't empty your pockets. Don't pass this deal up
Received the hammer spring and installed it without any problems. It really is as easy as they say on the video. Haven't shot the rifle yet but I can tell you, this hammer spring sure as hell "cleaned" up the trigger pull. Prior to the switch, the trigger was long (acted almost like a 2 stage trigger but it's only a single stage trigger - OEM Mil-Spec) with quite a bit of take up. After the take up and just before trigger release, there was tons of grinding and grittiness. After replacing the OEM hammer spring with M*Carbo's trigger spring, the large "take up" has been virtually eliminated and the gritty feeling has gone by the wayside. I'm coupling this hammer spring with an enhanced firing pin in an effort to eliminate light striking we've been having with this weapon. Hope is up and the feeling is positive.

I put these on all of my AR's. I cannot justify spending 200+ more $'s on a whole new custom trigger. This spring makes a world of difference compared to the OEM spring. I have not had a failure yet. Works on standard and magnum primers. MCARBO rocks!
Folks, for kicks I put this spring in a very affordable PSA AR15. Pull weight went from an OK 6 1/2 lbs to a very terrific 3 1/2 lbs. wow! Do it already!
