Got the spring quickly in the mail, installed it and did a little polishing of the hammer/sear interface. Pull is 4.5 lbs as advertised, and very smooth!

The MCARBO trigger spring in my DPMS AR is a great update, the lighter pull allows better accuracy and it feels much better.

Without a gauge I can only guess at the pull weight, which is lighter to be sure, but the big difference was the crisp break and reliability. Full disclosure moment: I did take the time to polish the trigger surfaces before reinstalling. Very satisfied with the results.

Initial installation of the new hammer spring reduced trigger pull from 8 lbs. to 6.5 lbs. I again removed the hammer and then the trigger and lightly polished the hammer and trigger sear engagement surfaces with Flitz. After reinstallation the trigger pull was reduced to 5.5 lbs.

A big improvement in the trigger pull weight. I had two identical AR-15 rifle builds that I assembled, and installed the lighter spring in one of them, and comparing them side by side, it was a big difference. While I prefer a nice NM 2 stage trigger, this lighter spring is a very nice upgrade for the military single stage trigger. I need to buy a few more of these.

This is a great, and inexpensive upgrade for the stock AR-15 single stage trigger. Highly recommended.

Ordered the AR 15 spring with the hope of eliminating some of the rough drag during trigger squeeze. First of all let me say my order was quickly filled and shipped out. I received my order promptly and installed it immediately. I was quite impressed with a better and smoother trigger action. A lot of that gritty trigger pull was gone. Installation is very simple and instructional videos are there if someone needs it. Don’t hesitate to purchase one.

This is the second spring I've bought. Both were added to standard mil-spec triggers. The first one brought the trigger pull to an acceptable measured 5.5 lbs. The second one didn't give quite the same results. It took a measured 7.5 lb trigger down to 6.5. Better, but still not what I was hoping for.

My part arrived damaged, USPS issue footprint on package both springs were bent. Contacted MCARBO they shipped new springs that day a Monday new parts arrive following Thursday. Thats what I call service. Watched video install went smoothly. Triggers on both installs are much lighter and very crisp trigger pulls. Very happy with purchase and will use this seller in the future. Thank You very much for a very good service.

My project started with a Spike's Tactical AR-15 new out of the box with a 7 lb. 2.4 oz. trigger pull, minimal take up but gritty and lot's of creep. (All measurements were taken with a 5 pull average from a Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge.) I began by stoning .010 off the back side of the trigger to reduce the amount of sear engagement while keeping the angle positive, this was to reduce the amount of creep, I then stoned the machine marks from the very rough sear engagement surfaces, lubricated the sear engagement surfaces with molybdenum disulfide, installed M*Carbo Kit (should be Hammer spring VS Trigger spring.) The results are a 3 lb. 4.5 oz. pull weight with a crystal break, no creep and almost no take-up. At the range the rifle performed beautifully. A 5 shot at 100 yards or 2.7" which is not great but for an out of the box gun I'd say it's better than average.

Did as expected. For the price it’s great.

On my it was about 4.5lbs. Definitely an improvement. I like 3lbs triggers but for this build it didn’t matter. And for that reason this kit was perfect.
