I highly recommend this kit. My trigger pull ended up at just over 4lbs. If you have a S2K, you need this.

Hi everyone I have an old Kel Tec Sub 2000 in 9mm. It has not had a good life. Used hard and put away not cleaned. I had to replace trigger spring kit hammer bushing, and a feed ramp that was missing. Look at you tube for video how to install parts, MCARBO has the best video's. The only trouble I had was that the new springs were so much stronger that I had a hard time keeping them in place to assemble the pistol grip. My first experience with MCARBO. The new pdf instructions made it easy to replace the springs. Also installed an aluminum replacement trigger. Trigger pull reduced by approx 2 lbs and makes this gun much better for me to shoot. At age 75 my arthritic fingers don't like detailed work so I had the work done for me. MCARBO may want to add replacement triggers to their Kel Tec menu. Chris, thanks again for your service.
The kit made a tremendous trigger pull improvement. From 8.5+ pounds DOWN to 4.5-4.75 pounds! I can only say as of yet the parts are being installed so as far as their performance, I'll be back, but so far the ordering, shipping and receiving has been very good. Everything arrived in good order. This is my second Kel Tec Sub 2000 in Glock 23 model, I have both the Gen 1 and now Gen 2, before I installed these up grades I wanted to shoot the Gen 2, as I suspected after a few hundred rounds the trigger left my finger tender as did with my Gen 1 model, so I"m really looking forward to this install, if all goes well I will be purchasing another set for my other Kel Tec. Stand by for the actual firing, the proof will then be known, until then stay safe, be vigilant and stay alert.
Ordered the trigger Spring Kit, metal curved trigger, metal breakdown guard, metal injector plate and buffer recoil pad. I used the instruction video and everything went together smoothly. Really appreciate quality of products and M'CARBO's attention to customer satisfaction. Highly recommend them for anyone needing an upgrade to their P2000 or any other requirements.

If you won a SUB2K this Trigger spring kit and trigger are a MUST!!! AMAZING DIFFERENCE in trigger pul weight and smoothness. My trigger had a sharp edge at the top of the dish and it was not the latest trigger from Mcarbo, but all it took is some light filing and no more sharp edge.
Followed instructional video, install was a breeze. Great improvement in trigger. Also installed new target trigger, the combination was a dramatic improvement in overall performance. Again thanks for the instructional how to videos!
Knowing the issues with the 2G2000 and doing all the internet searching for the right solution...there was no other solution than MCARBO! The products are awesome and the results are outstanding (reduction in trigger pull by approx. 2.5lb). However what really sold me were the instruction videos!!!! They are some of the best put together "How to" I've seen for any weapon. They go step by step for every process...I wish others would use their videos as the benchmark on how to make a DIY weapon video!!!! Going to next get the trigger guard upgrade and maybe soon MCARBO could make a front sight upgrade also.
Installed trigger spring kit and really improved the trigger performance. Very happy after shooting at the range, trigger is as good as it gets. Even more, thank you to MCarbo and their technical support. Great people make a great Company.
I just bought a Kel Tec Sub 2000 and though I really like the firearm, the trigger left a lot to be desired. I bought and installed the MCARBO trigger spring kit and what a difference. The firearm is not a high tech design, but the install did present challenges. I lost the sear spring twice. It can pop off even if you hook it behind the pin in the directions. But after all that, the trigger pull is just over 5lbs. on my 2000. I believe the kit is well worth the time and money.
...You need to correct something in the YouTube installation video. At 15:18, the operator is reinstalling the barrel and trigger guard...incorrectly. The front leg of the spring needs to go INSIDE the slot of the trigger guard, not be allowed to spring forward under the barrel as he allowed to do. This is crucial as the folding mechanism will not work properly if this in not done correctly.
