I purchased this item along with the trigger and recently installed on a sub 2k Glock 17 model. The trigger is crisp and light, while the reset is smooth and clear. This is a quality upgrade that makes the kel tec a lot more fun to shoot.
5 stars says it all. I received this spring set & installed it at the same time as the M-CARBO trigger replacement I purchased. Thanks to the videos online here on the website, installation was easily & correctly done. Pro: What can I say about a spring kit except that it works as advertised. I wasn't able to measure the triggerpull weight before installation, but now it averages 5.75-5.9 lbs. Additionally, the "feel" of the trigger's release is MUCH better & more crisp & precise. Con: NONE I have already & will continue to recommend M-CARBO & these parts to other SUB 2000 owners.
Prior to replacing the springs the trigger pull was spongy feeling in that it got progressively firmer before snapping encouraging snap anticipation. After upgrading, the pull is lighter but more important, smoother with no noticeable pressure build before the snap. Nice job guys!

After installation, my trigger pull dropped 2 lbs, just as advertised. Highly recommend the installation videos.
I'm by default skeptical of changing spring rates from factory settings... the designer generally knows what he is doing and sees the whole picture of the firearms design. In the case of the Gen 2 Sub2000 I recently purchased, the trigger pull was heavy and abrupt, slong with an uncomfortable trigger. I wanted to change the trigger to the MCARBO machined version, and decided to try the spring kit at the same time. Glad I did. The resulting trigger press is excellent. I feared it would be too light for good control, especially the trigger return, but the spring rate in the this kit is perfect. Trigger return is positive, and the pull weight was reduced to manageable and clean let-off. The spring kit installation video and instructions were well done and complete, although better close-ups of the small parts and their relationships during re-assembly would have been better. The video is shot from too far away... you might want to check out the trigger install video as the proper close-ups are shown. The whole job was an enjoyable hour going slow. Highly recommended.

Upon shooting my Sub 2000 Gen 2 straight out the box, it was pretty decent, but felt it could be improved. I stumbled upon Mcarbo by accident surfing the web. After slapping these and a solid aluminum trigger in the S2K, it totally changed the feel of the trigger. Sleek, smooth, and crisp trigger response and bald eagles screaching in the background is what these springs will make reality feel like. So slap these springs in your S2K with the might of Zeus, today!
The kit arrived well packaged. I installed the components using the videos. It all went pretty smoothly on the MCarbo side and lightened the trigger pull by just over 2 pounds. In my case some of the factory KelTek screw inserts spun and prevented those screws from being removed and also prevented me from being able to reassemble the firearm. I'm mentioning this in case it happens to anyone else. I'm lucky that KelTek is only an hour from me and within a half hour they had that fixed and the firearm reassembled, all under factory warranty even though they could have said I voided the warranty by installing the trigger kit. I'm very pleased with the trigger kit, both the lighter crisper trigger pull and the quality of the parts. Much better than the stock parts. Thanks MCarbo, you guys rock.
I installed the spring kit along with a new trigger from MCarbo. I haven't gotten to shoot the rifle yet except to dry fire it. It feels 10 times better. While I was in there I also polished the sear to remove the machine marks that were causing the gritty feeling. It's like a whole different rifle. For the money you can't go wrong.
My rifle's trigger went from an average of 9lbs, 6oz to an average of 5lbs, 10oz. These averages were each derived from 10 pulls using a Lyman trigger pull gauge ... and have been rounded to the nearest whole ounce. The fit/finish of the springs was great and installation was a snap thanks to an excellent video tutorial. Some have complained that the cost is high for 3 springs, but what you're also paying for is the video tutorial which likely saves most a trip to the gunsmith, the wait time associated with a gunsmith, and the shop fees for what's 1-2 hours of work. Well worth it, in my opinion...

I have zero gunsmith experience. Using the video I installed the kit and trigger with little problems. The difference is awesome. The trigger pull and feel of the trigger is easily noticeable. I was skeptical but now am shocked. Worth every penny! Delivery was super fast and customer service outstanding. They sent an email out offering help and then followed up to make sure everything was ok. You don't find many companies like this anymore, Overall outstanding experience with M*CARBO!!
Replaced my spring kit using the Mcarbo Video as an aid. After installing the spring kit, my spring tension was significantly less. My shooting groups are smaller due to less spring tension. Everyone that has shot my Kel-Tec Sub 2000 with the spring kit installed has upgraded their Kel-Tec Sub 2000. Great upgrade.
I upgraded a buddies Sub 2000 Gen 1 while I was fixing a broken original mag release latch (upgraded that as well, awesome). This spring kit makes shooting the Sub 2000 very nice. Big difference over stock springs.
