I installed the spring kit for the Kel-Tec Sub-2000, it went as smooth as can be expected when disassembling and reassembling a sub-2000. Although I have taken my Sub-2000 apart before I checked M CARBO's instructional video and picked up a couple of tips. It took about an hour or so with some other stuff I did while inside the gun. As I said, it wasn't the first time I had the carbine apart. The trigger pull is now at 3 lbs., pretty juicy! Below I added a link to my Youtube channel which offers other tips and tricks to use while disassembling and reassembling a Gen 1 Sub-2000 and other gun things too. I hope M CARBO won't mind. Did as instructed in last video posted, waited till I had ALL the stuff so I only had to open up my sub-2000 once. did the trigger, guard, screw up-grade, and single point mount. All worth the trouble... its not an easy job, and you need 3 hands, but it is ALL worth it! Good job on parts, and shipping/communication are great! Keep up the good work over there!
Thanks to M*CARBO I received my order promptly! The springs only kit made a noticeable difference in trigger pull, which I am pleased with. I am now convinced that the complete trigger kit will produce a more perfect experience while shooting. A smooth trigger pull means everything to accurate shooting! I am treating all my stiff guns now!

Kit greatly improved the shoot ability of the rifle. Very noticeable. Installation instructions were a little complicated and excessive. (I did not have to remove barrel or receiver) Once you see the springs inside you can get them changed. Sear spring will fly across the room at least six times, so change in an open area with no clutter. Preferably with a sheet over your head.
My Sub 2000 was greatly improved with these mods. The trigger feels like a different gun. No regrets. I was impressed with the installation videos which were very easy to follow and well done. I received follow up emails with links to there installation videos and an email making sure I received my order. I think these people have worked hard to produce a good product and have built an honest company where they care about customer satisfaction, not just to make the sale. Bobby Savannah, Ga.

one of my biggest complaints about the sub 2000 was the trigger its heavy gritty and not conducive to accurate shooting but up until recently there have been no "trigger kits" i purchased mcarbo Trigger Spring Kit and "Earley" metal trigger i decided to buy his instead of the aztec trigger because he seems to be making lots of sub2k parts and i wanted to "reward" him with business so he keeps making new products http://www.performanceservicesmachining.com/kel-tec-sub-2000-products/kel-tec-generation-1-and-2-trigger-replacement/ i installed these parts and did a polish with a dremmel buffing wheel mothers aluminum polish using beastly write up which can be found here i also lubed the pins but forgot to lube the hammer and sear http://www.thektog.org/forum/f85/beastlys-sub-2000-build-249208/index5.html I DID NOT FILE OR GRIND ANYTHING first the stock trigger: 1/4" take up/slop then a wall gritty take up and no idea when its going to break i wish i payed better attention to the reset but i think i forgot about it cause it was non existent there was so much flex in the plastic trigger after the break the trigger could flex and hit the receiver ie over travel average weight after 5 pull on lyman trigger gauge 6lbs 10oz which from what ive read is actually good for a sub2k now after the spring kit buff/polish and metal trigger way less take up very firm distinct wall distinct crisp break can hear and feel a reset no flex in metal trigger = less over travel average weight after 5 pull on lyman trigger gauge 5lbs 10oz i was hoping for a little less weight but it is defiantly WAY better than stock trigger i haven't test fired yet but will soon.
Got the spring kit and fired up you tube just so I got the install right. The install is a little more involved than a simple AR drop-in so I found that Chris' step-by-step was spot on. Once installed the trigger pull was sweet. Took it to the range and it was much easier to shoot. Appreciate all Mcarbo does on this carbine.
Without a doubt this product has improved the trigger pull on my Sub-2000 Gen 2. Improves the OEM spring set by 200%. I am much more accurate since this was installed! I highly recommend MCARBO and all their products. They are of the highest quality! I will continue to purchase their products.
This kit was easy to install especially with their great video instructions. Can't go wrong. The upgrade itself is so nice, smooth and crisp! I feel my accuracy improving with less pull and more squeeze on the trigger. This is a must upgrade to your S2K! Thanks MCarbo for providing all these awesome upgradeable parts for our S2K!..
I have put a lot of upgrades on my Sub-2000, but the Trigger Spring Kit really made it a lot more enjoyable to shoot. It lowered my trigger pull by about half, witch for me it improved my accuracy. I would recommend this upgrade for anyone like me who has trouble with a 10lb plus stock trigger pull.

I installed the SUB-2000 trigger spring kit, performance trigger bar and stainless steel feed ramp. These upgrades made a noticeable difference in the trigger pull and I now like this firearm much more than before. Installing the kit and other parts was a little time consuming, but the video instructions provided by M-Carbo were excellent.
i replaced my springs along with a handful of other goodies and it made a world of diff! Highly recommend Mcarbo upgrades! the video's are excellent...i was able to do all upgrades myself. very detailed! big fane and will be a return customer!
