I don't know why this kit has to be sold the manufacture should have never sold the gun with a 9lb trigger but they did so spend your $30 and fix it tighter groups better follow up shot just more fun to shoot this is the kit to get
I 've installed the spring , trigger , guard , and screw kits. Trigger feels multiple times better. Install piece of cake especially with video assist.
Spring kit was a great improvement along with the target trigger. Easy instructions if you do one step at a time with video. Like a whole new firearm.
I purchased 2 of these kits and installed them both in Gen 1 Sub2000s, one a .40 caliber Glock mag version and the other a 9mm Sig mag version. The .40 was originally pulling at 6.5-7 lbs on my scale and it came down to right at 5 lbs and it pulls more smoothly and consistently after installing the M Carbo kit. After installing the first kit, the second was easier and went much faster. In my eagerness to get it installed I forgot to get a baseline trigger pull on the 9mm gun. I can say based on shooting it that it was comparable to the .40, if anything just a touch lighter/smoother because it's had more rounds through it. After installing the kit it pulls right at 4.5 lbs all day long and is also smoother with a more consistent pull.
My sub 2 k is a totally new weapon. Great quality and a night and day difference. I will certainly get the beretta kit for my M9. Thank you MCARBO
It worked better than I thought. I upgraded my Gen 1 to Gen 2 and the factory installed it and love the proformance.
They advertise smoother operation and a lighter trigger pull. That is exactly what I received. They did the installation for me and I am totally satisfied with the turnaround time and quality of work.
Installed spring kit along with new trigger. Cut my pull weight in half. Went from a 10+ lb to around 5 -6 lb pull. Very good improvement compared to the stock parts.
Video was all I needed to get the job done. Works great! But honestly $30 for 3 tiny springs was a little steep. A price drop would be nice. But the kit does work good so far
I was generally happy with my Kel-Tec Sub 2000 gen 2 except for the soggy trigger with long hard pull (Savage Accu-trigger & 1911 spoils you). Installed this Mcarbo trigger kit and replaced polymer trigger with aluminum (bought elsewhere). Was finally unequivocal about my Sub 2000; love it! These mods made a huge difference in feel & performance; group improved at 100 yds and MOST IMPORTANT enabled me to cycle accurate semi auto rapid fire at 400+ rpm. Now feels like something I would be confident using for social work. Highly recommended.
Springs and pins are a definite worthwhile short money investment. Do it
<p>I purchased the spring kit and the new trigger for my sub 2000 g-19 model. I ordered on a Tuesday and they immediately sent out the parts. By next morning I already had my tracking code. The parts came on Friday afternoon. Their videos on YouTube were extremely helpful and made the whole process basically idiot proof. I highly recommend this company and already told another friend who was looking into upgrades for his Kel tec.</p>
The trigger spring kit and install video were both excellent. I don't have a trigger pull gauge but my trigger finger tell me it's smoother with much less resistance. The disassembly and reassembly while watching the video went without a hitch, however there is on caveat. Elon Musk would have been proud of the way I launched the safety detent pin across my basement and into a stack of rough cut lumber I had stacked there. A recovery team was dispatched but to no avail...the little detent was lost. I have to mention that after I let loose a string of profanity that would make a sailor blush I calmed down and got on Kel-Tec's website. Finding the parts and ordering was a breeze. They shipped out the next day USPS 3 day Priority. Just be careful re-installing that safety detent and spring!
<p>Just installed this on my Gen2 40S&W Glock mags. Love the feel! Though I'd prefer single action like my AR, that's not MCarbo's problem. This double action feel is smooth and provides a solid reset.</p>
Out of the box, my SUB2000 Gen2 had a horrible trigger. It measured around 9 pounds and the travel was extreme and felt like gravel over most of the pull. After I installed the trigger springs it dramatically improved the trigger to the published pull weight and it was smooth with decent travel. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Keltec should just hire these guys to do their triggers.
An American company as it should be impeccable service quality product and lifetime warranty A Amazing seller!
