This trigger spring kit makes a clear difference in the amount of trigger pull felt. While the kel tec sub 2000 is an amazing gun, it still leaves a lot to be desired since the original trigger is plastic that bends after extended use and has more stiff springs that cause a lengthy trigger pull that is downright awful and decreases accuracy. With the new trigger spring kit that mcarbo provides, you can feel the difference, no question about it. The trigger pull on my sub 2000 was reduced from over 9 lbs to just under 5 lbs and is crisp; you can feel the exact moment the sear is being engaged as opposed to a squishy pull that masked that feeling prior to the trigger replacement. There is a youtube video that is done by Mcarbo themselves, illustrating what needs to be done to install the trigger spring kit. This video is extremely informative and essential for installing the kit without mistakes. You'll need to set aside some time as you'll want to take it slow and not lose parts, as it is easy to do if you're not careful. That being said it isn't impossible and very doable despite how intimidating the process seems. I highly recommend also that you buy the aluminum trigger that mcarbo makes if you're planning on switching out the trigger springs, as this is the best time to replace the plastic trigger by kel tec. It adds a lot to the gun and makes for a more comfortable shooting experience. Overall this kit is one of the most essential items to change for your kel tec sub 2000 - everything else can wait, but this cannot. It is that important and drastic of a change to the gun.
This is one of those upgrades the sub 2000 must have to be a fantastic gun.
My latest 2019 Sub2k model came out of the factory with a not to horrible trigger pull. It was mushy and gritty feeling but broke right at 6 lbs 4 ounces. After replacement of the trigger and springs it's now a very nice smooth crisp 4 pounds 1 ounce! Well worth the money!
Lost the sear spring after it was installed. It just shot off when working on another area. Used originsl sear spring. So no complete trigger job.

Installed spring kit, trigger and screw upgrade yesterday. I don't have a pull gauge but could tell the difference immediately. Smooth, comfortable yet crisp. The video is immensely helpful.
I’ve been shooting pcc with a sub 2000 for a couple matches now. Last match I had a grandmaster look at me and say the gun is slowing me down. I knew he was talking about the trigger freeze from the stock trigger. I just put this spring kit in as well as the flat blade trigger. This setup is legit. It’s like a 1911 and competition glock trigger had a kid. Thanks guys for this product it’s awesome.

Recieved your trigger spring kit for my Gen 1 Sub2000. I had no problem following your video, and had no problem reducing the pull from 7-3/4 lbs down to 4 -1/4. Great product.
Wow. What a difference a set of springs can make. Even with the old trigger and hardware the difference was night and day. With a new trigger, bar, bushing, and these springs the result is amazing. Cut my group sizes in half. Anyone buying a Sub 2000 should figure in a complete firing system upgrade from MCARBO as part of the price. The Sub 2000 is an awesome gun idea, with a firing system that doesn't quite bring out the full potential of the gun. The upgrades from MCARBO do. Start with the springs, if you can afford nothing else. You'll be happier still if you do the trigger, bar, and bushing.
After shooting 200 rounds with the stock trigger and springs, I sprung for the McCarbo spring kit and Curved Trigger. Wow, what a difference! My arthritic finger doesn't have to work too hard and the trigger pull is smooth. Using the video, this rifle is really easy to work on. Keep up the great work.
Adding this and the trigger bar removed a lot of the slop in the stock trigger assembly. Can’t recommend it enough

I got trigger spring kit new trigger guard new screw kit and trigger this stuff is great very well made kinda easy to install especially with the video very helpful. I would do it all over again.
