Installed this upgrade in about 10 minutes. Chris' video covered all beautifully. Hardest part was getting my big paws around those micro screws without losing them. All the reviews have commented on how small they are. You really need to do this work over a white cloth, so you can find the little buggers if you accidentally drop them several times like me. Once all was in place and loc-tight cured, the slide stop worked like a dream. Chris, I'd love to see you guys develop some kind of slide rack extension to assist in pulling the slide. I've seen these for Glocks and other pistols. They attach to the tail of the slides in some fashion and offer greater amount of purchase for a pull. Love my PMR30, but the blasted slide is so thin, I often can't get a good grip on it for racking.
This knob installed perfectly and provides much surer function. I expanded the installation instructions by installing while the pistol was opened for other upgrades; this allowed me to lock all 4 allen screws. Don't miss this chance to upgrade your controls!
Worth getting, way better than stock, easy install when you take your time and do the swap on a table where it’s easy to see those tiny little screws. Well designed product, big fan. Thank you!
The 6061 aluminum slide stop defiantly has more finger surface area. It could have possibly been wider and longer. The set screws are very tiny, so doing watching the installation videos and using a white or light colored container is a must. The purchase price could be cheaper. Price is too high.

Simple installation..good install video....set screws are way tiny. Overall would recommend, plus get rid of that plastic junk stop and replace with a quality aluminum one. Great Job M*CARBO
Really like the new aluminum slide stop after the second day going to the range after getting my gun rebuilt with all the upgraded parts the plastic factory slide stop kept popping off so I put super glue on it and that didn't last long either and it kept popping off so now that I've got my new one on there no issues and it's easier to access and lock the slide now so glad I've got this upgrade aluminum slide stop these guys know what they're doing when it comes to building parts for this PMR30 what do you see on there website is what you get great customer service fast delivery and they even check up to make sure your product is okay and was received if I was able to give them more than five stars I would definitely give it to him
I recently added the stainless steel feed ramp, enhanced magazine release and aluminum slide stop to my (almost new) PMR30. As usual, the M-Carbo customer service was excellent even with the slight delay in receiving the aluminum slide stop. As a side note, there are undoubtedly M-Carbo customers of all political persuasions that use this website. There is no reason to believe that members of one political party are somehow more patriotic than the others. It serves no purpose for anyone to advertise their political affiliation in M-Carbo reviews by denigrating any political party as the not so subtle (and apparently quite needy individual from North Dakota did recently. We're all in this together so maybe we should behave accordingly.
It is very comfortable to have additional ergonomic surface area to release the top slide. So much easier to feel and engage!
I had upgraded my PMR-30 with other Mcarbo parts before the new slide stop was released. I found this one a piece of cake to install even though those set screws are so very tiny! I have fat fingers and lousy close vision and I was able to do it by just being extra careful. It certainly is a HUGE difference in operation as the original part lacked overhang needed for my fat thumb.
Quality part, easy to install , made manipulating the slide sooo much easier.. plus it’s aluminum.. not plastic.. very happy with it.

This is not an essential upgrade, but a nice one anyway. Aluminum beats plastic every time. NOTE in the video, Chris warns that the set screws are tiny. However, he made it look so easy. I could easily see the screws in the video. When I got it, WOW! Those babies are indeed small. I even had to use jeweler’s glasses to see which end accepted the Allen key. It took me awhile, but success was mine in the end. I have ordered and installed quite a few MCARBO items, and this goes on the A+ list with all the others.
