Performs like I was hoping it would. It's not as good as a 1911 trigger, but it's as close as it can get for a striker fired gun. Thanks, MCarbo!
I got the original (faulty) trigger, but until I had about 4-500 rounds through it I didn't know. Then one day I got a bunch of emails including a tracking number, and two days later the replacement trigger showed up. Wow. Customer service was on point. But I haven't been able to go shooting so I put off the trigger replacement because working on this gun (P365 SAS) is kind of a pain. I replaced the trigger today, and the new trigger feels just like the old one, will hopefully shoot just as well, and won't fail like the last one. See pictures for what that failure looks like after only 4-500 rounds. But the trigger - it's very nice. All the nice. Ergonomically it feels perfect. Smooth where it needs to be smooth, and flat where it needs to be flat. The geometry for finger placement is right where it needs to be for me. I have the trigger spring kit as well, so this trigger coupled with the spring kit gets rid of a lot of the sponginess of the factory trigger. It also makes the reset a LOT more crisp. I don't have a pull meter so I can't say specifically how many pounds of weight reduction there is in the pull, but the felt action is much lighter, and much smoother. Again, the photos are here for fair warning on how the faulty trigger can fail, as well as showing off my TP barrel and Griffin Armament Compensator with the new trigger job.
Like Eric said, be mindful of the over-travel screw. I threaded it in too far and no "click". All in all I am very happy with the upgraded trigger and the short resets. Great product!!
I purchased a Flat trigger from Gray Guns and did not like it at all. For some reason when using the pad of index finger to pull trigger, my finger would drag against the trigger guard and start to get very uncomfortable after a couple shots. I install the M*Carbo trigger and it not only fixed the problem but I had less creep snd shorter reset.
I was hesitant at first but caught it on sale 20 bucks off went ahead and ordered just the trigger. Wasn't to bad to install, I have the standard springs etc that come with the macro. Talk about crisp an reliable. With the stock trigger I was having to do a full pull each shot to have better accuracy now it shoots like a dream. Absolutely love my edc, one my favorite range weapons too. If you're 50-50 go ahead an just do it you'll be happy with you're purchase
Installation on my P365XL was a little more fiddly than shown. The trigger bar was pulled so far forward that the safety lever did not seat fully; it's up a fraction of a mm but it was enough to hit the slide cap and stop me from putting the slide back on the gun. Thought I made a mistake and tore everything down and rebuilt it twice more before I realized it was probably just a function of tolerances of parts. I filed down the lower right corner of the slide cap just enough to clear the safety lever. Works great now and the filed bit is barely noticeable unless you know to look for it. Love the trigger. No slop at all.
So much better than the stock trigger barely any take-up and a nice crisp break also installed the spring kit and you can tell it took off a few pounds
The M Carbo P365 trigger is a huge improvement from OEM Sig flat trigger. The reduced take-up and geometry on the M Carbo trigger is really nice, the OEM trigger had a lot of take up and felt kinda spongy at the break. Still enough take up for a safe EDC gun, and pull weight did not change (did not install spring kit).
I was a horrible shoot with the Sig P365 but once the flat trigger was installed my groupings and accuracy increased tremendously! The trigger made the difference that’s for certain. I do recommend getting most of the parts mentioned in the installation video (I didn’t buy the hammer but everything else I did), and it took me a few hours to dissemble/install, but if I can do it, so can you! I now look forward to taking the Sig to every range outing for more practice.
I have put this trigger and the MCARBO P-365 spring set into a 365XL and a 365 X-Macro. The 365 is a good gun out of the box but this trigger and the spring kit make it a great gun. The trigger allows you to shorten the trigger stroke to the minimum that the FCU can handle. The only thing I would say that could be improved is the video instruction for the installation. Since most people are going to do the trigger spring kit with the trigger installation it would be best to show how to do it that way which is not the way you do it if the original trigger is left in the FCU.
Spent hours trying to make this work. Took it apart and reassembled it multiple times. Could not get the slide back on. Realized the safety lever was being forced up slightly with the new trigger installed. If I took the trigger pin out the trigger bar would move forward enough to let the safety lever down enough to let me put the slide on. Tried installing it on a friends 365 9mm and it went in great and functioned properly. The instruction video was very helpful, but the customer service not so much.
Super satisfied about this trigger kit. The instruction "how to install" video was so clear and straightforward. Once installed, it performed just as the video suggested. I thank this team that is always looking for ways to improve the shooting experience. Keep them coming MCARBO brothers!
I purchased this item to drop into my new Sig P365. I had to take it to a gunsmith to get it to work on my Sig. The notch at the very top of the trigger isn’t deep enough in order to work on my gun. The gunsmith had to increase the notch depth by about 25 thousandents of an inch in order to fit correctly. I do love the length of pull as it is very similar to the rest of my pistols. All are very close to 3 pounds. You may want to have your supplier deepen the notch depth. Thanks
I installed this awesome trigger with the MCarbo spring kit....and wow! What a difference. Very happy with the end result. Smooth and crisper than stock and not too light for carry.
Loved the YouTube video of this trigger, ordered and couldn't wait to get it. When I received it went straight to the install, everything went as the video showed, except the takedown lever would not go back in. I emailed Mcarbo and four days later have not received an email or a phone call about this issue. Finally had to take it upon myself and do some fine tuning to get it to drop in,once installed it feels great. Would have gave 5 stars if it fit as advertised or Mcarbo's customer service was interested in their customers.
Easy to install. Recently installed to my sig p365 .380 .This past weekend I burned through 150 rounds at the range. The Trigger is smooth real smooth. I gave 5 stars for the 150 rounds. After the thousand round test. I’ll come back with another review. All in All the trigger pull is light and the reset is great.
