Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. I liked the curved trigger ok, but i am impressed with the feel of this flat face. Supreme fit and finish!
Trigger swap was a nice upgrade with noticeably shorter travel and reset. I had the spring kit installed previously by a gunsmith but installed the trigger swap myself after watching the video. The video was essential for my DIY work. It doesn't cover removal/installation with a manual safety option but that was easy enough to figure out. I couldn't get the disassembly lever to install with the new trigger and its pin installed but simply pulling the trigger pin and reinstalling it after the lever was installed allowed me enough room to complete the work. The video does an excellent of explaining how the parts function so that where I had to juggle sequence slightly I was able to do so. Thanks for your support and high quality aftermarket upgrades!
Easy to install, and I'm no gunsmith. It looks great! The trigger feels much better than stock, more refined. Finger placement is excellent! I'll have to shoot with it a little more before I can comment on how it affects my accuracy, only had time to . For now, I'm very pleased with it.
Unfortunately I never got to try the trigger. They took my money wouldn’t answer emails or phone calls for a week finally got them on the phone over a week after the order and was issued a refund. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION!!!!
I did not want to leave a bad review. But when I simply do not receive any kind of response or service what so ever, then they do not deserve a good one. It does not matter what the issue is, large or small. M-Carbo needs to respond to their customers. In fact, if a company can not handle minor issues, then they can not handle larger issues. Over a week without any response or acknowledgement is just not acceptable business practices.
Installed the M*Carbo spring kit and short stroke strigger (red) for my P365. The springs install was a bit difficult but the tutorial was a huge help. Just took my time and then installed the trigger, which was a lot easier. Starting pull weight was over 6.5 lbs and with the dreaded "mushy" pull. The pull weight ended up at 3 lbs 4 oz measured with a Lyman gauge. Best of all, final adjustment of the overtravel screw virtually eliminated the mushy feel. Honestly not as crisp as a 1911 but certainly worth the extra bucks. Pretravel and overtravel are reduced also. I polished the CPU where the trigger bar rubs, and the sear and striker disconnect. Also put some TW25B grease sparingly. My final upgrade will be the titanium striker assy. Final judgment will be after my next range session.
Worlds of difference from the stock flat face trigger. Well worth the buy. And I learned a great deal about my p365 xmacro tacops. Win, win.
I installed the flat trigger along with the armory craft trigger spring kit on my new macro. Installation wasn't super complicated but I had to take everything apart twice and reinstall the trigger and spring kit because of the slide catching. Aside from that, there is a noticable improvement on the feel of the trigger. I recommend getting one.
I only changed out the trigger itself and left all of the springs alone. Used the YT videos from MCARBO and almost disassembled more than I needed to because the video covers more than just the trigger replacement. The trigger pull itself is much shorter now and breaks right at 90 degrees. I didn't mind the factory trigger but this upgrade removes a lot of the squish. So far I've only dry fired with it but I plan on a range trip this weekend.
This was a nice step up from the stock trigger, the reduction in take up and overtravel made it will worth the cost. I installed it along with the spring kit and titanium striker and couldn't be happier.
screw fell out from the blue loctite, screw was replaced quickly from the store
Great feel to the flat trigger, pulls straighter for me than factory curved one. As always easy to install with the excellent detail in MCarbo install video.
Great trigger upgrade with a very helpful viedo to help install but even better than both of those items is Mcarbos customer service is 2nd to none thanks looking forward to next Project upgrade!
Just wanted something better looking than a mim part. Was pleasantly surprised how short and tactical the reset was. 110% worth every penny. It's a bit of a pain to install but very do-able with minimal mechanical know how. Was my 1st time tearing the fcu apart at all.
I should have got one of these long ago. So much better that the OEM trigger shoe!
Well … this is my 2nd MCARBO product (out of many, I must say) that was a bit frustrating with respect to instructions and thought that went into the release. I bought the P365 trigger spring and flat trigger together and tried to install them at the same time. The only video Chris had was for the trigger spring kit, mentioning that if we wanted a new trigger, let him know. So, my gun was down for a week and a half, as I worked through assy issues and tried to get responses out of MCARBO. Bottom line, the MCARBO trigger has different dimensions from the original Sig P365 trigger that doesn’t allow you to re-assemble the parts in the order you disassembled per Chris’s video. An installed MCARBO flat trigger prevents you from re-installing the disconnector and take down lever without pulling the pin in the trigger releasing it to make additional clearance. This also ends up making you change the order that you put it back together, assuring you have access to the trigger pin. Bottom line, it was a frustrating experience. I believe MCARBO needs to get back to going through their dis-assembly-re-assembly process a few times internally before releasing to the public. Now granted the trigger was an afterthought and released later, but still … if they would have taken the time to combine the dis-assy/re-assy when they released the trigger, they would have figured out the issues and could have either re-done the video or added an addendum. That’s what MCARBO has always been known for, so let’s get back to the basics guys and take the time to do it right. We love you, but staring to lose confidence. BTW … got a pretty significant trigger pull reduction with this one! Haven’t shot yet, but the pull numbers look good!
