Review
I have been ambivalent about straight triggers, my 220, 225 and 226 are all standard with only the short reset on all 3. The 365 curve trigger was fine except with big fingers I found upon reset, the curve shape pushed my finger up and pinched slightly in the frame trigger slot. The straight trigger offers 2 immediate improvements, a slightly less pull weight (about 4.5lbs vs 5lbs) and more room in the trigger guard so no pinch. There was a slight amount of creep which is reduced with the straight version. I did no other polishing or spring changes.
This trigger is all metal and reduces trigger pull significantly. Installation was a little above my gunsmithing skill level so I opted for the MCARBO installation. They did a great job and I am well pleased with the trigger. I recommend changing the springs out at the same time.
Bought this trigger and the spring kit to upgrade my xmacro. Everything works perfectly and the install video was good and thorough. Install difficulty is probably a 3.5/5, you need to know what your doing but can be easily done in a less than an hour with proper tools. Highly recommend.
This is the perfect upgrade for the P365X. Far superior to the stock trigger. I installed this with the MCarbo spring kit at the same time and it made a big improvement.
The flat trigger reduced the felt pull and combined with the the spring kit made a night and day difference. The short take-up and reset are wonderful.
I love it! I used different flat triggers but this one is my favorite, combine it with spring kit from Mcarbo an you have a winner
Love it! I really like the short stroke compared to the stock trigger. Installation video was excellent and I didn't have any issues. I recommend!
It was an easy job, and did what it was made to go. Just follow the instructions.
I purchased two 365's from the range her in town. One is an SAS and a XL Macro. The young man working at the range recommended the Mcarbo trigger and springs. I have to say it is one of the best improvements I've ever made on a handgun. The trigger is much smoother so much more crisp. Along with a better reset I highly recommend this trigger for your 365.
Awesome trigger upgrade and this is definitely a upgrade. 365 spring kit and trigger have changed the sig notoriously long pre travel and gritty trigger to a short snap of a glass rod breaking
Bought the trigger and spring kits,Best Buy of the day, took the video to install but well worth the time, much easier to stay on target, very nice product, hope they make 938 parts soon
Excellent trigger , shorter pre travel No over travel . Highly recommend .
Sorry for the late review, i am recovering from 2 months of recuring pneumonia. The trigger was sent to me as a replacement for recently purchased trigger that was found to be prone to failure after about 1000 rounds. I cannot express how much I appreciate M Carbo for their honesty and customer first type attitude, this replacement trigger was sent totally unsolicited, and I was unaware of the defect M Carbo had found in the original trigger I purchased earlier from them. The updated trigger was fitted and is excellent in action and reset. I give it 5 stars. The original trigger is on its way back per instructions. Thanks once again Chris for quality parts and service second to none.
Was shopping around for a good flat trigger and had settled on a different maker but before I had purchased M*CARBO finally made this trigger which I think looks sleek and not as bulky as the one I was about to purchase. So I purchased the trigger hoping it would shorten the pre travel and it didn’t let me down. Had already installed the spring kit and was nervous about messing up what I thought was perfection. Was totally and pleasantly surprised with the result of the trigger. If you like the feel of knowing when you’ve hit the wall and with a much shorter pull and reset than get the full kit with trigger and springs. You won’t be disappointed.
Let me say up front that I have purchased many items from M*Carbo, in particular, upgrades to my PC carbine and have found all of the products and installation videos to be top notch. I purchased the flat trigger from M*Carbo versus the Sig trigger based on that history and the fact that the trigger was not plastic. The installation video was pretty good although I did have some issues when it came to reinstalling the sear spring, which was my bad as I didn't realize it was an upgraded spring hence the different look. Also the sear itself appeared slightly different than mine but again not an M*Carbo issue. I was slow and methodical with the process and all went well until the very end. This is where I feel some clarification could have been used. After completing the installation I found that the slide would not go back on due to the safety lever raised slightly above the rail. I assumed that I had missed a step and proceeded to disassemble back to see what was wrong. After many attempts I did some Google searches and found out that I was not alone on this. Apparently some do and some don't have this issue. I chose to lightly file the back plate as others have done and it worked fine. I did contact customer support the following day and was advised to remove the back plate, reinstall slide and then work it back and forth to fit the parts. I'm not sure I could have done that as it stuck up a fair amount. This is not a criticism but more of a suggestion to include that information up front. As for the trigger, I did a range day and found it to be a nice upgrade.
Installed the flat trigger and the spring kit. Easy after watching the YouTube install videos. Lighter much smoother trigger pull. Great quality products!Fast service great help from the mcarbo team. Will buy from them again for sure.
