This trigger is fantastic!! Takes out a lot of the factory pre-travel and looks and feel so much better. Paired with the spring kit the trigger pull feels much lighter. Feel very close to my Sig P320X Spectre comp.
I talked with several "Sig" guys at local gun shows and the one trigger they all agreed was a great upgrade was the M-Carbo. I ordered one for my X-Macro and initially hated the first 20 or so rounds. I stuck with it, and after breaking it in, the trigger is exactly what I was expecting. I planned this to be my EDC, so I did not decide to install the spring kit, just the trigger. The trigger on the P365 is good out of the box, but after the installation, the M-Carbo performs as advertised, better than expected. I just installed this on my second P365X and about halfway through the break in period, I can tell it's going to perform just like the first trigger I replaced. Great snap, an EXTREMELY predictable reset, and an even cleaner "break". Somebody said this was a second shot trigger, and now I know what they mean.
Trigger shortened uptake and reset. Very smooth throughout trigger pull with noticeable wall. Combined with the spring kit, trigger breaks around 3.5-4 lbs. Fairly easy to install too. High quality at a good price.
The spring kit is of very good quality and lowered trigger pull as advertised. When I installed the flat trigger it was such an improvement over stock it is amazing the feel it gave to trigger pull. Highly recommend MCarbo flat trigger over others tried. Easy install and the combination of the two products spring kit and flat trigger make it fell completely different over stock, much smother pull and very much a DA feel. Reach to trigger face is much improved. Keep up the good work, Thanks for developing a great product and THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR.
This trigger is sweet. The take up reduction is incredible. Makes it feel like a new gun. Keep up the great work guys. Sincerely, Scott Vanderwall
I recently purchased a flat trigger, an upgraded trigger spring kit (for Sig P365), and a bench block from M*CARBO. Although it will be weeks before they are installed, I needed to give this company high marks on superior customer service. The trigger was on backorder so they contacted me periodically to give me updates (and they sent the other two items directly). The other thing I like about MCARBO is the fact that they have many training videos. Although installing a new trigger and springs seems a bit of a challenge, I look forward to it because of these hand-holding instructions. Thanks MCARBO for supplying products to keep us shooting as proficiently as possible.
I purchased this trigger and spring kit. I installed it by watching the step by step video on YouTube. The trigger is awesome, definitely an improvement from factory. My groups are smaller. It was a fast easy upgrade that gave me more confidence in my side arm. By installing this it taught me what i liked and dislike about my pistol.
I am someone who buys a good gun and then buys upgrades to get the gun I want. Maybe I shouldn't, but ........... I changed sights, included a Huge grip, and now bought a flat trigger and spring kit from M*Carbo. I couldn't be more pleased. The trigger weight dropped about 1.5 lbs. I can't describe what the flat trigger accomplished exactly, but now I can shoot and not pull my aim off target. I practice with a laser. In the past, by shots put a slash on the target. Now, with little movement, I put dots on target. My range shooting has greatly improved. Thanks M*Carbo.
For proud owners of the Sig Sauer P365, its remarkable compactness and reliability are undeniable. However, every firearm has room for enhancement, particularly in trigger performance. With a break angle 33% shorter than the factory trigger, an improved trigger reset, and meticulous construction, the mCarbo trigger sets a new standard. Recently, a member of my gun club (shout out to the Bass Reeves Gun Club of Atlanta, GA) purchased this trigger based solely on its feel and reset. His satisfaction prompted him to recommend it to others in the organization, highlighting his overall delight. The mCarbo trigger also excels in ergonomics, featuring smooth edges and a rounded tip for enhanced comfort and minimized risk of trigger bite. Additionally, an over-travel set screw allows for personalized adjustments, ensuring a tailored shooting experience. It's reassuring that troubleshooting tips are readily available for installation challenges, and for those seeking convenience, mCarbo offers installation services. Without a doubt, the mCarbo P365 trigger upgrade revolutionizes the shooting experience for Sig Sauer enthusiasts striving to unlock their firearms' full potential.
Installing the MCARBO trigger for my P365XL was an interesting experience to say the least. I definitely learned more about my firearm by taking apart the FCU. The video is extremely helpful just make sure have all the tools you need and some patience. I also installed the spring kit as well to get the full benefits of this package. There was one hiccup that I encountered in completing the reassembly of my firearm and that was with the striker spring assembly. In the video they will say there is a reset spring in the striker sleeve. I didn't have a reset spring in the striker spring assembly so at first I thought I may have lost it during the disassembly. But after I researched a few forums a day or so later I learned newer models of the 365 brand don't have them and you'll be fine. Now on to how it performed. It did everything it promised to do. Smoother/lighter trigger pull, very short take up, incredibly short reset and a cleaner break than the flat factory trigger. However it might be a little too light a trigger pull for my taste or I might need more time to get used to it. The biggest difference I notice now is the recoil feels snappier now. That wasn't there before I installed these upgrades. Maybe if I reinstall the factory striker spring it will reduce the recoil and feel closer to how my XL shot before I made these upgrades. I need more time at the range to fine tune everything so I can find the balance I'm looking for. It's night and day when compared to the stock trigger I give them that. I'll make an update in a month if I like it better or not. I'm keeping my fingers crossed its just a breaking in period that's needed.
Really impressed on how much of a difference it makes on the pull and reset. The video was definitely helpful and made installing everything way easier. FYI you don't have to take the fcu all the way back out if you over adjust it just turn the Allen key sideways plenty of room to turn it out
So I originally installed one of these on my 9mm P365XL. I recently bought my wife a P365-380, so I bought another. I had a little trouble with this second installation. Somebody's specs, Mcarbo's or Sig's are just a little off. To get everything to reassemble and function I had to do a little filling on this trigger. On the leading edge of the arm (towards the front) that holds the trigger bar, I had to remove a fair amount of material so I could get the take down lever to re-insert when the trigger and it's pin were installed. I could get it in if I left the trigger pin out while doing it but you really shouldn't have to do that. Then I had to remove a little material from the front of the "saddle" area (between the ears that hold the trigger pin). This area controls how far forward the trigger can "return". I did this because the trigger bar simply wouldn't return enough to let the safety lever lay flat enough to re-install the slide. I took the whole thing apart multiple times, re-installing the original trigger to check the orientation and clearances of everything - then filing in the areas I mentioned until I could get the new trigger to function properly. This trigger is made of some pretty hard steel, so filing was a bit tedious. At the end of the day, I got the trigger installed, it works as advertised, and I like it. Just passing along my experience.
The trigger was improperly toleranced and manufactured. it stops the slide safety from going down far enough to function and you cannot get the slide onto your frame. No one has a solution, so it appears that the trigger is defective. I have called MCarbo and sent emails to their customer service without reply. I would not purchase their products again.
The trigger is very nice and with the spring kit, I was able to reduce the trigger pull quite a bit. It helps out the accuracy of the gun since I have been using it in competition. The Sig P365 X Macro Series is turning out to be a very good pistol.
Game changing trigger. Must have in my opinion. Paired with the spring kit my gun has never shot better. CA model needs a slight modification to the trigger pin. (Just need to file down little nipple on end so it’ll sit flush on the FCU.
Total improvement- Best trigger for the p365 by far! I have 2 p365 one I have the Sig titanium total FCU dropped in one those cost over $300. NO Improvement to trigger at all! my other p365 I installed the mcarbo trigger it has made the trigger pull and re-set much much better! Extremely happy with this triggers angle and everything!
