I purchased the trigger and spring kit for my Sig Sauer P365X. It took about an hour and a half to install since I had never disassembled and reassembled the fire control unit. There are many helpful videos online. Take it step by step and listen to the tips and tricks offered by the instructors. I like the solid machined trigger better than the stock metal injectection molded trigger. I am pleased with the upgrade and saw positive results at the range. Less lower left of bullseye patterns.

The trigger came yesterday and was installed on my P365 380 in the evening. Thank you for the video.

WOW-excellent fit for my finger.

My +/- 0.02” (less) accurate measurements confirm better ones on the video.

Striker safety lever slides under the back plate with no rubbing.

Trigger pull is lighter by 6 oz.

The trigger toe is narrower avoiding interference with Crimson Trace LG-422 wrapped on the trigger guard.

I have been looking for my P365 trigger that would accommodate my hand. The factory curved trigger had good pull length but only when the finger was in the middle of the curvature pushing my finger up during the pull and pinching it on reset. The toe of the trigger was too far forward for me to place my finger lower.

I compared my curved trigger to SIG flat one and found that toes of the both triggers are in the same forward resting position but flat one is 2mm forward at the finger position compared to the curved. That was no go for me due to my shorter fingers.

I watched the trigger installation video by MC*CARBO and found comparison of relative positions of both SIG flat and MC*CARBO triggers-BINGO!

According to the video the MC*CARBO trigger is aft from the SIG flat in resting position and matching the face of my curved trigger at finger position with additional bonus that toe of the flat trigger is over 3mm aft form the curved allowing me to place the finger even lower.

Photo: the millimeter graduated sticky tape shows the following trigger positions front to back:

Toe of curved-resting.

Toe of MC*CARBO-resting.

Toe of MC*CARBO-back.

These dimensions are illustration only and true on the trigger guard but not at finger position.

First, the whole purchase interaction was top notch! From the time I placed my order I was looped in on the fast handling & shipping process. I had my trigger & spring kit in about a week! Amazing.

Second, this is a MUST have for trigger snobs like myself. If you shoot, you understand. Night and day difference!

Third, the installation video made this possible as I had never taken down an FCU from Sig. This can seem overwhelming at first, but I assure you, Chris Nelson patiently walks you through the process with excellent camera angle and intelligible descriptions.

With the spring kit, dramatically improves feel and pull of Sig XMACRO

I really like lower weight trigger pull. I think it increases my ability to put follow up shots right on top of previous, if I am doing my job on sights and grip. It was a bear to get the trigger kit and spring kit installed on the FCU, due to some incorrect instructions, but if you watch all their install video's, you'll get it done fast. Just make sure to check their support and product page, not just their youtube channel. So far, it's been great and fully reliable.

Specifically, there is a trick on installing the takedown lever, the trigger overtravel set scerew, and the sear spring, that their website videos will tell you. I feel like the XMACRO FCU is a little different than the 365 FCU, especially in how the takedown lever is installed.

I took this trigger to a gunsmith, estimated 1 hour to complete the job, 3 hours later (at $60/ hour) they couldn't get it to fit. The gunsmith was able to install it successfully in a different 9mm without issue. Customer service took slightly over 48 hours to reply, not terrible, and is currently over 24 hours on the reply email. Too bad it won't fit, as I was excited to get it installed after reading all the positive reviews.

I installed this flat trigger in my P365XL and it did require some hand fitting to make it go in properly and then adjust the setscrew for final trigger operation. I feel like the gun now has a better trigger pull , shorter takeup stroke and shorter reset for follow up shots that are quick and accurate. I also installed the MCarbo Titanium Striker assy to help improve overall gun performance now my P365XL is a SUPER SIG !

World of difference

Feels solid and a lot better than the stock curved trigger. Zero complaints.

No experience with any gunsmith type work in the past. Purchased a few tools from this site to assist with the process. Took me awhile but I was also replacing the SAS controls with standard Sig slide stop and take down lever.

Shorter, lighter pull and shorter reset. What's not to like? The improved trigger angles and materials made a big difference. My accuracy has improved as well. It's like a different handgun altogether! MCARBO sent a replacement trigger for a problem I never experienced at no charge. How can you beat that?

My sig p365 was unusable right from the store due to terrible trigger pull which ended up being due to bad machining on sigs part. This trigger coupled with your spring kit saved this gun and now it's everything i wanted in a pistol.

Love the feel of this and the shorter stroke.

Remember that this will STILL be a striker-fired gun. Nothing can change that. (It will not run like a 1911.) There is still take-up, but much shorter, and basically no overtravel. Reset is quicker. Love the feel of this. I like flat triggers generally. I went from the stock, curved trigger to this. Big improvement. I also did the spring kit at the same time. (If I'm going to have the FCG all apart, then come on! I watched the MCARBO install vid twice and the Sig Guy vid twice. Easy peasy.

This trigger is well worth the investment. Take-up and reset are short and positive, providing a precise overall action. I added the spring kit as well, I would recommend it. The overall trigger is much crisper and lighter without being too light. Not having a trigger gage, I would guesstimate about four pounds. The trigger itself is top quality piece,

This trigger has such a short and crisp pull. I absolutely love it. The P365 is already a phenomenal firearm and this trigger takes it to the next level.
