First & Foremost Thank you Chris Nelson For your Service. I ordered this Particular Flat trigger for a few Reasons. The CNC Machined Part, MCarbo Customer Service and superb Follow up & Follow through from them. I have ordered from them before & I felt the Brotherhood. I was very Excited when My Brand New Shinny CNC Machined Trigger arrived. I pretty much dropped what I was doing to install it. Very Clean, superior to the factory trigger overall fit, finish and function is excellent! The trigger pull, release and feel are crisp and the over travel set screw worked nice. Installation is easy but can be a little tricky. Watch a few videos before hand and follow along with MCarbo video and you be done in less than an hour if you've never done this before. Git you one!
I had high hopes for this trigger for an sig p365 x macro. But once I put it together I couldn’t get my slide past the manual safety lever. Redid it and watched video on it and same thing. I put the factory trigger back in and the slide went right on without problem. I emailed mcarbo and never got a response
This doesn’t work with my fcu. Either sig changed their trigger bars over time or there is inconsistent geometry with this trigger style. I emailed several times and called, no response over 2.5 weeks. Very disappointed in this company’s complete lack of customer service
This trigger is everything that I’ve been hoping for in my P365 SAS. The feel is perfect in combination with the spring kit. I was worried that the pull would be too light for my EDC, that’s not the case at all. Smooth pull, clean break, and a perfect reset. You guys got this one right. Good work.
with my p365 macro it does not work out of the box. it takes up too much pre travel and causes the safety lever to stick up preventing the slide form going on. I got to the end of the install and noticed this and had to do it twice before I realized I did nothing wrong and it's just a shit product.
I’ve done a lot of modifications on my p365 to find what works best for my hands and shooting style. I recently purchased a grayguns trigger with all the hype but I still wasn’t satisfied so I ordered the Mcarbo short stroke trigger. Let me tell you, this is by so far the best trigger for the P365 yet. Easy install if your used to breaking down your FCU anyway. I highly recommend it!
Great product by MCarbo. It reduced the total trigger travel distance. I had no problem installing this trigger and went in so perfect. I watched SigGuy in Youtube and helped a ton. OEM trigger pull stopped at 6 o'clock position, but Mcarbo trigger stops at 5 o'clock position. I like that much better for smaller hand. With Mcarbo spring kit and this trigger, my new trigger pull weight is at constant 3.5 lbs.
I watched Chris' install video several times so I could familiarize myself with what I was going to be in for. The Sig's FCU is pretty amazing engineering and the video was perfect to follow along with as I installed the new trigger, springs, and a new extended slide catch lever. I had Sig's flat trigger installed, this one is far superior. Be sure to have the gun glue, (Synthetic Grease w/ PTFE) to keep parts in place. This experience has given me the nerve to take on my CZ 75 P-01 decocker model and do a trigger and spring kit to it. I polished the moving parts that were showing wear and the results are amazing. Great products from MCarbo. Have a new grip module being delivered today and can't wait to put them together. I've put every aftermarket part for the Sig P365 that Macarbo makes. Maybe they will make me the poster child-haha
The M*Carbo Flat Trigger upgrade was a perfect match to my M*Carbo Trigger Upgrade Kit for my Sig P365XL! I enjoyed the close fit tolerances (no slop) of this trigger. It met every expectation for reduced travel and reduced reset travel on this trigger. I honestly tried the stock trigger parts for a before-after results at the range and personnally saw massive improvement in my ability to break the shot where I wanted it easier with the M*Carbo components. Anyone shooting the SiG P365 series needs to seriously invest in these M*carbo components as they add functionality and reliability to the design. Amazing products!
The stock P365 trigger is actually pretty smooth throughout the pull (no major buildup just before the wall), and has a defined break that isn't heavy. My only real issue was the long trigger travel. I know this is normal for striker fired and DOA pistols, but this is my first striker fired gun (coming from a 1911 and other DA/SA pistols). Well, I am happy to post that the overall travel is now what I'd consider good. The pre and post travel has been reduced, so the overall travel is shorter. It's not a major change in travel, but it's very noticeable and made me happy (which, of course, is all that matters). 😁 I also noticed that it is a flatter trigger thank the stock "flat" trigger that came on my Spectre Comp. It's because the stock trigger is still curved from side-to-side, but this trigger is flat except the round edges. This made it feel slightly nicer than I was expecting!
This is the perfect addition to any 365 variant! This trigger places the finger much better, is more durable, and straight up looks cool. When paired with the upgraded spring kit, it turns a good gun into a great one.
Installed this trigger in my 365XL and it is a shorter stroke and quick reset.
I replaced the MIM stock P365 flat trigger with this MCarbo trigger. It’s not a gimmick make look good trigger. It works as advertised. Plenty of room in the front, less creep, solid wall and good break. This trigger is night and day compared to the OEM Sig Sauer trigger. I highly recommend this trigger. Also, the packaging is impressive. The way the shipping label was attached to the shipping pouch was noticeably neat. Even the instructions that came with it was folded with care. I have ordered from other merchants where they would just stuff everything in the pouch and slap the shipping label on it. Small details.
Incredible addition to the P365 X Macro. Firm fit, less take-up, less over-travel and a shorter, positive reset.
