Ok let me start off with it's still striker fired. But I took off 2 pounds from my original trigger to this one. I use to be a Glock guy I was young and stupid. I thought Sig was great until I had the reason the M17 has stopped being made and the M18 is now in the military happen to me. The Hellcat so far was my favorite without issues my only concern was trigger pull always seemed way to heavy for no reason and the firing sleeve is a joke bad part to make cheap. This setup fixes all of that in one kit. Take your time adjust the over travel with some extra movement at first you can adjust it when installed just need to pull the trigger and you will have access to the set screw. There are videos online on how to do it but if your worried get a hold of a good gunsmith to put it in for you. This kit no joke fixes everyone of the minor issues that could pop up in one step I have over 500 rounds through it already no light strikes everything works great I believe there was a change in the springs for the pin and I have a new one so far 100% honestly didn't expect it. Great product.
I spent a lot of time looking at the Apex and M*Carbo triggers for the Hellcat Pro. I decided it was worth spending the extra money to get the Titanium Striker and the flat, metal trigger. I followed the great video and the install went smoothly. I did polish the trigger bar too. The trigger pull is now about 4 pounds, 5 ounces down from the factory 7 pounds. But, that is only part of the story, the trigger is more comfortable, has less take-up, and a crisper break. The stock break was quite long. I just got back from the range and the gun was so much easier to shoot and I shot it very accurately. In fact for a small gun, it is very accurate and you no longer get off target due to the heavy, stock trigger. I also was quite happy to replace the plastic sleeve on the striker. The M*Carbo striker replaces the plastic sleeve with a Titanium one. The kit is fantastic! Would not of kept the Hellcat pro if I could not change the trigger. It is a fantastic gun and a great carry gun, it just had an unacceptable trigger.
Easy Peasy install after reviewing the video mod process on YouTube. Total time to complete the install is about an 1 1/2 hours which included a trip to Harbor Freight for Theadlock 222. I didn't have the gauge to measure trigger pull before and after but it was definitely less than stock. Rounds down range: Much improvement on accuracy on my part which is probably due to the lighter trigger pull effort. Nice upgrade for the HellCatPro.
just received it from a months long backorder from Thanksgiving. The video instructions were great ,made the job easy. I followed the instructions by backing out trigger bolt about a little over 1 full turn. but ended up adjusting to about 1/2 a turn for shorter break. I am 100% satisfied with this kit and would recommend this upgrade
I finally got the time to install the titanium striker and trigger upgrade on my Hellcat. I liked the pistol as it came from Springfield but wasn't thrilled with the trigger pull. The upgrade really makes a difference on the range. Smoother crisp operation now. The video install demo was a great aid. Without it, I would have had to give the project to a gunsmith/armorer. The video is clear and a confidence builder for someone who generally only field strips weapons. Thanks for the quality product and the great instruction on how to install it. You guys keep coming up with the good stuff!
This kit was easy to install using the M*Carbo video. They should make a video showing the installation of the trigger especially how to install and adjust the pre-travel adjustment set screw. It is not complicated but some instruction or explanation should be provided. Thankfully I did receive help from the company and their responsiveness is very good. The striker assembly appears to be top notch and was the main reason for purchasing the kit. The original striker on my Hellcat broke in half while dry firing despite always using a snap cap or laser cartridge. For EDC, that's very alarming. I feel much better with the titanium one in this kit and the stainless steel striker sleeve. The trigger weight pull went from about 5.8 to 4 lbs. using the new springs but that's not necessarilly accurate since I don't have a really good trigger weight pull scale to test it. I definitely like the flat aluminum trigger with the pre-travel adjustment screw. All in all, I am very happy with this kit and enjoyed installing the parts myself.
What a difference!!! Install was easy, took me about 1/2 hr , what a difference at the range
What a difference this has made to this firearm. Smoother, crisper and easier than the OEM trigger. big improvement over the original trigger.
