Install straight forward. Aluminum trigger body. Very tiny setscrews (should include a spare in kit). Paired with Ghost connector bar and 6lb spring. Presto.
Easy installation, easy over travel adjustment with supplied blocks. Decreased my trigger pull substantially with nice break and reset.
I replaced and already fantastic aftermarket trigger with this offering from M*CARBO and the improvement was notable. Further reduction in pull weight, a vertical break point and the pre/post travel screws took all the unnecessary travel out of the trigger. The jig that’s included is great - makes install a breeze. Can’t wait until they make one for the Gen 5 guns
I have upgraded several of my pistols with various MCarbo kits. The parts they provide in their kits are always top notch, and the accompanying instructions make it extremely simple to accomplish. Most of all, the upgrade truly enhances your weapon while doing away with MIM parts whenever possible. Additionally, when Mcarbo comes out with a new enhancement product, you can bet its been engineered to perfection (e.g. better mouse trap).. Another thing I appreciate is their fair pricing, making it quite affordable for us in the shooting community. I truly hope MCarbo stays around for years to come.
By far the best upgrade add in to my Glock 19 to date!
I installed both the Glock Gen 3-4 Short Stroke Flat Trigger Drop-In Assembly and the Glock Trigger Spring Kit Gen 1-4. The M*CARBO video instructions were very easy to follow. I did all the polishing recommended, including the new drop-in assembly and the locking block. I opted for the max adjustment tool block for the flat trigger to reduce pre-travel. Pre-installation 5-pull trigger pull average was very good for a Glock @ 3lbs, even with only approx 1,000 rounds through it. Post-polish and installation trigger pull is only 2.2lbs - a 27% pull decrease! I highly recommend these 2 products!
Bought this for my Dagger and man it works great!!! Super happy with this upgrade to a very economical gun purchase.
The first thing I noticed was the vibration feeling was gone. My trigger pull dropped significantly (27%). This trigger pull reduction is above and beyond the M*CARBO trigger spring kit that I installed about 12 months ago. I went to the range and my groups were better than previous averages. If you are not familiar with the inner workings of your Glock, I would wait for video guidance, otherwise it's an easy install.
The quality of this system is not to be questioned. As always Mcarbo delivers. However! When installing in certain model Glocks adjustments cannot be made, as shown in video, with trigger installed. You must completely disassemble the lower. Make adjustments and reassemble to test. If not correctly adjusted. You must completely disassemble AGAIN, etc etc etc. Not the easiest to tune if you are looking to take full advantage of this trigger system. My two cents……
As with mostly anything Glock, easy install. Came with printed install manual as video isn’t posted yet for set screw installation. This trigger is CRISP. Hits the wall at 90deg and with the set screws installed reduces the travel by a huge amount from OEM. Everyone knows OEM sucks on the Glock, but this one stood out to me as the only trigger that has the safety blade not going all the way through the bottom of the trigger to provide that flat faced trigger feeling and that has pre-post travel set screws. Would recommend.
It pained me to leave a 4 star review instead of 5 stars but unfortunately the trigger bar needed a little tuning done to it. Let’s start with the good: installation and set up were super easy and straight forward. The included fixtures worked great in the set up of this trigger. The feel of the flat face is a huge improvement over the stock curved trigger. The safety blade is easy to actuate (some aftermarket triggers are not) and the break is right at 90 degrees. I found improved accuracy with this trigger. The bad: when I first installed this trigger during the take up the trigger pull was very notchy and gritty. Observing the trigger bar moving I felt this was happening during the safety plunger actuation. I disassembled the firearm and felt the safety plunger actuator - it had ridges and bumps on it and wasn’t smooth at all. I’m not sure if it was the plating that caused this or the actual cut of the bar itself. I smoothed it with a very fine file then worked 400 grit sandpaper all the way up to 800 grit, then finished by polishing with a felt wheel and compound. Trigger take up is much improved now without false walls or “notchy” feeling that it had before. Now that the feel is smoother this is a five star product, no question.
I've owned Apex and Overwatch Precision triggers. These are nice triggers, but they still seem to lack something in my personal opinion. The M*Carbo trigger has the best of both worlds. I love the tip of the trigger shoe is close-ended so the pad of my trigger finger doesn't hurt at the end of my shooting session. Plus I finally get to fine tune the pre and post travel to my liking. Overall, I love this trigger!
Have run Overwatch triggers in other platforms and they are nice, but a rolling break. The MCARBO Gen 3-4 short stroke flat trigger, after a polish and some syn grease w/PTFE is a crisp break and short reset. Install was simple, adjustment fixtures were spot on for my build, and the feel of the shoe is real nice! Only gripe so far is the dingus screw backed out after 250 rounds. Back that puppy out and throw some thread loker on it and you will be gtg! Overall, another great product. Proud to be part of brotherhood!
Adjusting the trigger was easy with the provided aids. Final result after polishing was a little over 3lb pull.
I’ve ordered from Mcarbo many times. I’ve always liked their products. However this one doesn’t work right and I’ve got $100 useless trigger. I got a response saying weak striker spring. Nope. Tried with multiple slides. Should be popped out and I can push and it feels tight. Something is not right. Had a Timney that wasn’t right and they sent another. Guess this was my last Mcarbo order
