With all the upgrades, it significantly improved the pistol. IMO use the 12lb spring, the 10lb one is too light for carry and doesn't feed all types of ammo. The 12lb spring gave me an average trigger pull in the mid-4lb range. The upgraded trigger can be set to have almost no travel, which was my issue with the stock gun. It also has a more noticeable reset than the stock trigger. It eliminates the annoying metallic "ping" sound when dry firing as well. From a non-gunsmith (but someone who tinkers) the video provided by this company is easy to follow. Make sure you buy the correct loctite and punches before disassembling the gun though. Just spend the extra money and get everything, feels like a pro tuned performance center gun now. Also, if you are replacing the recoil spring, make sure to put the original INNER spring back into the gun. The stock gun uses 2 recoil springs and the upgrade is only the outer spring.

I installed this spring kit along with the trigger and could not be happier with the results. now i have a great 3.5 pound trigger that is much easier to shoot. This tightened up my groups and gives me the confidence i need to have in a carry gun.

Nice Product. Would buy it again.

Excellent product. Made a significant improvement in trigger pull (much lighter and smoother). The 12 lb. hammer spring also eliminated the pronounced "clink" from the stock spring when dry firing. I am inexperienced at gunsmithing work, so it took me considerably longer (1 hour) than the video to make the upgrade. The only difficulty I had was reinstalling the chassis in the frame. Inserting the trigger end first wouldn't allow the rear of the chassis to seat. After numerous tries, inserting the rear of the chassis first, then the trigger end did the trick. Haven't tested the firearm at the range yet. But based on my positive experience with M*Carbo thus far, I don't expect any problems.

I've bought a LOT of MCarbo parts over the years and have never been disappointed. They know what they are doing and as an example, including the 10# AND 12# spring set is a great idea. In my case I tried the 10# and found it wouldn't ignite the hard S&B primers. The 10# spring worked with other brands with softer primers but I swapped the 10# for the 12# spring.

MCarbo tech support confirmed this and told me the factory hammer spring is 15#.

Outstanding!

Gets rid of the annoying "clang" noise when dry firing. Kit was super easy to install and everything fit just like stock. Can't wait to get this on the range to test out my easy pull trigger setup.

Used spring kit with upgrade trigger. Used 12 lb spring, much lighter, better and enjoyable to shoot and use as concealed. The trigger spring better than the original “boing” reset. Only 2-3 hundred rounds through after upgrades still testing.

Great quality springs, fit well. Easy to install. Used 12lb. spring as 10lb. Spring was too weak. Works very well. Must recommend

Installed with the 10lb hammer spring. Gun now has a noticeable lighter trigger pull making it easier to keep gun on target while completing the pull - something that was almost impossible to do consistently before. Haven't taken it to the range yet - will be interesting to see the on paper results.

Was fairly easy to install.

Easy to install. The 10lb hammer spring yielded many light primer strikes… installed 12 lb hammer spring and no more light primer strikes. Did reduce trigger pull enough to be noticeable with 12lb spring. Did reach out to MCarbo support and they responded promptly. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

Awesome kit! Made my factory lcp max useable, the difference was night and day at the range!

I used the 12lb spring, and reliability is 100% after a box of ammo at the range.

Installed the 10 pound spring and flat hammer at the same time. Watched the install video and had it done in about a half hour with no problems. Great improvement in trigger pull weight and reset. Well worth the money.

This spring kit is amazing! It's smooth and provides a much lighter trigger pull as compared to the stock trigger spring. The trigger pulled dropped from a 6-7 pound pull to a 3 pound pull. This spring kit is great for people who have arthritis!

My pistol went from almost a 7 lb. trigger pull to 4 1/2 with a smooth take up and minimal reset, or as little as an LCP can get. I used the 12 lb. hammer spring after reading about light strike issues with the 10 plus a 2 1/2 lb. trigger is too lite for pocket carry. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the setup.

Try to imagine the sick feeling of an everyday carry gun that can only shoot one or two bullets before it jams and is hard to clear.

That is the state of my Ruger LCP Max after installing the M*Carbo trigger, spring kit, takedown pin, guide rod, and recoil spring. I used the 10lb spring.

I followed the videos very carefully. I used all the right tools, and dry firing is smooth.

It is more accurate than before, but out of 9 attempted rounds, 3 failed to load all the way into the chamber, and one was seated in the chamber, but the hammer was not cocked.

I had to drop the mag to clear the three that jammed on the ramp.

All of the upgrades M-Carbo makes for the LCP Max are worth every penny and then some - there is simply no comparison between a factory LCP Max and one which has been M-Carbonated. If you’re on the fence, just do it.

As others have said, I suggest using the 12lb hammer spring. The 10lb spring makes for a lighter a trigger pull than I like to have for a pocket pistol, and rarely caused a light strike (only on loads with particularly hard primers - the majority of loads I tested worked 100% of the time). The 12lb spring is right on the money - smooth every time and no issues, ever. Another great set of offerings from M-Carbo.
