The trigger no longer flex under pressure and has less friction. I had doubt before installing it but now I'm glad I made the change.

The trigger is very well-made, good materials and very solid. With the new trigger in the trigger spring kit the trigger is a lighter poup but the shape of the trigger I do not care for. The trigger is shaped just like the one on the kel tech PF 9, which are changed on the one I had because it hurt my finger to shoot it. This trigger has the same curve in the sharp point of the PF, wish I had have gotten the straight trigger instead.
I have a KelTec RDB, and like the trigger, but the Sub-2000 has a bit too much play for me. Didn't think I'd purchase this one as quick as I did, but glad I included it in my upgrade parts purchases.
Knowing the issues with the 2G2000 and doing all the internet searching for the right solution...there was no other solution than MCARBO! The products are awesome and the results are outstanding (reduction in trigger pull by approx. 2.5lb). However what really sold me were the instruction videos!!!! They are some of the best put together "How to" I've seen for any weapon. They go step by step for every process...I wish others would use their videos as the benchmark on how to make a DIY weapon video!!!! Going to next get the trigger guard upgrade and maybe soon MCARBO could make a front sight upgrade also.

Totally changes the way the weapon feels. I went with a curved version, as a matter of personal preference. Totally smoother and tighter feel to the trigger. Thank you Mcarbo.
I upgraded the trigger along with the Pro-Performance trigger bundle, and this is a must have with that beautiful light trigger pull. The flexing of the stock trigger is no longer bothersome.
I'm sure Kel Red researched the polymer used i the Sub 2000 trigger, but it just felt funny to me. I purchased this unit along with the trigger springs kit. The installation video was very helpful. The unit went in easily. The new trigger and springs smooths out and improves the trigger pull dramatically. The trigger upgrade is well worth the moneyin my opinion.
MCarbo has achieved HERO status - a much needed product, with excellent video detail on installing it. IMO metal trigger and spring kit are MUST dos on this gun; unsure the metal feed ramp is necessary, but I opted to put it in since I'd have the gun apart. Shot last weekend, and it really turns the Sub2K into a different gun. Pro-Tip - be thoughtful about what upgrades you want to install; I only want to take that gun down that far ONCE. It's not Rubik's cube, but not something I want to be doing often. On reassembly, it is likely one of the spring legs pops out the back of the receiver slightly, creating a 1/16th of an inch gap in the back of the receiver/grip. Use a flat bladed screwdriver to push this spring back in as a last step while you're closing the halves of the receiver together - this step is shown in the MCarbo video, but is easily overlooked.

After watching the videos and I placed the order, I pulled out the Sub 2000 and realized just how much I disliked that plastic stuff, especially the trigger. I was excited for the stuff to come. It arrived very quickly and soon as it did, I did the install right away. Man I gotta tell you I love the new trigger and trigger guard!! It feels like a whole new gun now! Not only does it look way better as well, it's allot nicer feeling knowing the screws aren't going to go south on me. I know I'll be back for the sling mount for sure! I've ordered about all the parts they make for my sub 200, su16 and my KSG. Evert thing I have got is a 100% ntop ot the line product. They are a 10 in my mind. THANKS TIM
