This trigger will give you a night and day trigger break to your Kel-Tec Sub 2000, Period! If you are tired of the "smooshy" trigger the gun comes with and keep trying to guess when the gun will go bang, this little part is a must have!
Have not shot it yet but installation was difficult, could not do it by simply following the video. I had to uncock the hammer when putting it back together, otherwise parts were under too much tension and the two halfs would not line up. I only got the trigger, not the springs, but it was critical for me to watch both installation vids to get a good understanding of how it goes back together. I think the replacement trigger feels better, bur it will have access to another one tomorrow, so I will compare side by side.

I installed this on my sub-2000 40 cal and it installed very easy and wprks and feels better than the stock trigger. would I buy it again yes. I just picked up the sub-2000 9mm
Excellent Trigger and quality product for my Kel-Tec Sub-2000. Videos were very helpful and made it easy for a do it yourself project. The trigger feels and works great and there is a noticeable difference between this trigger and the stock plastic trigger that comes with the new gun. Buy it! You won't be disappointed!
I installed the MCARBO trigger spring kit on my Kel Tec Sub 2000 and felt the addition of the tart get trigger would top off the install. The plastic trigger that came on the firearm was flimsy and flexed. The MCARBO target trigger is a world of difference and should probably be part of the trigger spring kit for anyone wishing to improve the Kel Tec.
I had some concerns for durability from the start that the OEM S2K trigger and guard were polymer. Plus the feel of the polymer trigger is, for lack of a more colorful adjective, “cheap”. The MCARBO kit makes all the difference by toughening the gun up in a couple of the most critical external places. While I have a curved trigger on my AR, I opted for a flat trigger on my S2K for a change in tactile experience. I haven’t been disappointed.
Since the design of the S2K trigger system doesn't put the seat surface on the trigger, this part doesn't make a huge difference. But it feels on my trigger finger very smooth and solid. I'd buy this all over again!
I have installed this trigger with the MCARBO trigger, sear and hammer springs into my Gen1 Sub2000. Before installation, the plastic KelTec trigger would flex under pull, stutter as it was moved to the rear and was uncomfortable to use. However, after installing the MCARBO parts. The trigger feels much better, is easier, lighter and smoother when pulled to a crisp break. I also want to say that in the initial change to the new trigger, I had some concerns about the product. I literally had received the first one sold and it had a minor issue with the inside diameter of the trigger pivot pin hole. The trigger was too tight on the pin and that caused it to drag on pull and not reset properly. A conversation with Chris, at MCARBO addressed this issue and he provided excellent customer service by shipping a new trigger to me, with the change in production made to fix the problem. I installed the replacement and found that all of my issues were resolved. And I am assured that ALL new triggers are of the improved design. Finally... The MCARBO aluminum trigger and replacement spring set greatly improves the function of the Sub2000. The MCARBO springs are a very nice addition to make the trigger more user friendly... But, the new MCARBO billet aluminum trigger completes the change in a big way and makes the addition a must have.
The MCARBO Sub-2000 trigger is much better than the plastic trigger supplied with this riffle. It has a solid feel to it and has improved my trigger pull. I will continue to buy MCARBO products. Another great product!
Great product, did some action work while replacing factory trigger, ended up with a 4.1# averaged pull, would like to see a billet textured mag release.
Thanks for the link to the install video. I received the trigger yesterday and installed it last night with the help of the video. It was a relatively easy thing to do once you see how the Kel Tec is made. The trigger is a very nice quality and I am quite happy with the results. While apart I polished the parts. I don't think I will need the spring kit as the pull is quite acceptable for an SD weapon. I will come back to your site to see how things progress, as I am always looking for things to make my firearms even better. Super Quality! Easy install. Works great. Definite +++ for Sub2000
It's not that the stock triggers in KelTec products don't work; it's that they don't work well. This solves the problem of fit, flex and potential breakage at the same time as improving the level of control over the trigger system. Also gives you the opportunity to get inside of the receiver and cleaning up any debris and flashing from the manufacturing and assembly process.
Something about the plastic molded trigger and trigger guard, just screamed "Replace me!!" I did not really have any issues with the old trigger an guard, but common sense tell you that one day, I will. The trigger was a little "bendy" after a while making the pull over 9 pounds. Manageable but not a crisp 4 pound pull after ordering the "All in One Performance Bundle." I like the aluminum curved trigger and trigger guard. Just my preference, for my needs. Great upgrade and avoids any future potential issues and really makes that trigger pull cleaner and crisper.
