I have used Titanium strikers from another manufacturer for over 20 years! I hear a lot about MCarbo and thought I would give them a try. Their titanium striker assembly is not nearly what they advertise! To begin with with it was terribly gritty and added .75# to my trigger pull! nothing like they advertised! So with all the adds it cost me $135 for something I can't use! I guess i will use it for a spare titanium striker but it will take some work to make it as good as what I already have. I can't send it back because I used the internal sleeve and destroyed the plastic on e getting it out as they said would happen! I hate spending my very hard earned money on S--t that doesn't do what is advertised!!!
They obviously don't know who I am! Perhaps they should do their homework!
First time working with these folks, but Gen 4 striker assemblies are difficult to find. Stumbled on M*CARBON and took a chance. Very nice machining and fit, yielding a clearly thinner wall before trigger break. I’ll work with it awhile to ensure safety, as I like to carry this 19.4. Have a Johnny Glock version to compare, we’ll see. But so far it’s outstanding.
Own a Gen3 G32 and the factory trigger/striker were GawdAwful to put it kindly. Bought an aftermarket trigger and it improved to just "meh." Dropped this striker+sleeve in (SUPER easy btw) and now the pull is stellar. Bravo MCARBO.
Install went very well with the sleeve removal tool. I haven't been able to fire the Glock 19 Gen 44 yet, but the trigger pull already feels better.
Installed in a Zev OZ9 for an upgraded striker system. Product was easy to install and was exactly as expected. The best part was the fast shipping and the way the company operates. Every little detail from the package backing being targets and the hand written thank you on the order form means I look forward to working w this company in the future!
Upgraded the striker pin along with the liner on my Glock 22. Easy install and made a big difference at the range. I would recommend this product as a buy.
What a terrific option for Glock Shooters. Trigger pull just slightly over 3lbs after installation. Very easy to install. Swapped out the liner as well.
Excellent product, really lightened the trigger pull and made it much more consistent.
Amazing. Outstanding performance today at the range. Trigger pull weight can’t be more than 4lbs, yet is still safe as there remains sufficient take up, and a brief wall. Well done folks! Worth every cent. Thank you.
I purchased this striker to be the final piece of the puzzle for a self built 17 target pistol. I had already installed a Ghost PRO 3.0 grind to fit connector and highly polished all internals. Upon installing the titanium striker the trigger would not function at all. I thought it might me the 3# spring so I switched it out to a 4# spring and got the same results! I then decided to try the striker on a 19 build that I had installed the new Ghost Unit 3.0 connector which is a drop in that has the same affect as a grind to fit. Again I got the same results, the trigger would not function with either the 3 or 4# springs, At this point I decided that maybe the issue was not being fully compatible with grind to fit type connectors. So I decided to try it on one of my edc pistols which is a 19 that has a Ghost standard 3.5 connector and polished internals. The striker worked perfectly this time, in fact the trigger was too light with the 3# spring and after some trial and error I settled on a 5# spring for now but want to try a 4.5# at some point! I am well pleased with the way this pistol turned out even though it is not the one I planned to use it on! This titanium striker is very well designed and made however I have deducted 2 stars for the fact that it doesn’t seem to mesh well with trim to fit type connectors. That being said I do highly recommend this striker for use with non grind to fit type and would purchase again for the right situation.
