The Newest MCARBO Double QD Sling Mount is the ticket if your SUB2000 has the STEEL Castle Nut/collar on the Buffer Tube. This particular sling mount ONLY works with the steel castle nut/collar and NOT the newer plastic one. If you have the plastic castle nut/collar you'll have to purchase the Single QD Sling Mount. The QD Sling Mounts come WITH the correct allen wrench and go in seconds. Awesome well made and finished product that instantly gives your SUB2000 the perfect attachment point for a sling.

I like running this QD Sling mount. I favor a one-point sling and this suits me great. Weight of the gun is distrubited well for me at this point when not folded. I see guys running QD sling mounts off the M-LOK, and the bottom of the buttstock piccanty and I think it looks horrible and would never work for me at those locations. But to each his own. If it work for you it works for you, enough said. I think MCARBO hit the nail on the head with this part and it just really works well for me. I'd like to see it in a FDE finish, and I plan to paint mine in the future.
Had no problem installing this. It is a no brainer for a single point hookup.
I came to MCarbo strictly for this product, but ended up getting a couple of other things too! The mount is as advertised, easy to install with minimal disassembly of the rifle. It's solid attachment for a sling and the price was good. Very happy with it.
Not a whole lot to say here except that it is of excellent quality and easy to install.
The fit and finish are better than expected. And while I haven't bout a sling yet, I have the perfect place and perfect part for it.
<p>I bought one nice product but unfortunately doesn't work well on the Gen 2 Sub 2000. The bolt tub nut that the OD mounts to continues to come loose even after I used red lock tight. </p>

Product is exactly what i needed! Also, Even as simple as this may be, the detailed tutorial is always welcome. Especially about the gen2 nut at the bas of the stock, i didnt know that!
When not in my bug out bag this is a perfect way to carry KalTech sub 2000. I use a single point sling which makes it easy to carry and quick to Put into action when needed
Perfect fit, does not need to be spread, attaches securely, does not interfere with either right or left handed shooting, helps to secure the 'Castle Nut' on the Gen II SUB2K's as they are no longer threaded, does not hand the firearm too low like the stock mount does and balance the ability to both sling and transition from primary to sidearm far better. Another outstanding product!
