Great video on how to install springs/trigger. However, the trigger has a lot of travel and has side-to-side slop.

1 star for better than ruger; 1 star for the video. I'll be looking at the Maxxis trigger instead.

I recently purchased the Max 9 and immediately the stock trigger was a problem. It does have excessive travel and also the trigger safety latch tends to get caught up when the trigger is resetting. I purchased the MCARBO trigger and watched the installation video. It was pretty easy to install and it solved all the issues that I had with the trigger. I am more than happy with the improvement and I urge anyone to upgrade to this trigger.

Trigger worked like a charm! Trigger shape I find better feeling when I shoot. Being adjustable is a plus. I am very happy with the purchase.

Side note, installation of trigger I would not recommend for a novice. I highly recommend watching the company's installation video first before attempting. You definitely need a few special tools. But video will take you step by step instantly to disassemble, install and reassemble. I lightly polished several surfaces while trigger module was removed from frame.

I found the trigger well worth the money spent. Would recommend

Way better than the factory trigger. With the spring kit pull weight is just under 3 lbs.

Great product !

Easy to install for anyone with moderate mechanical skills and the correct size punch. I actually used the supplied allen wrench to remove original trigger pin as I did not have a punch, a bit awkward but it worked. With that done the rest was a breeze.Looks and performs much better than original trigger. Most of pre travel gone, easier to insert finger and overall a big improvement.

The trigger is fantastic, 💯 better then the stock trigger. The stock trigger would bind when trying to press it from a draw. This trigger completely elminates that. It also feels so much better, the design, the feel of the press. With the adjustment it sets this trigger up perfectly.

Great trigger!

I like the Max 9 ..I as others went to this from the LC9s. Liked it from the get go but the trigger was a real draw back. So I got the M*Carbo kit as I did for my previous Ruger. The video was spot on & helped immensely!! The whole procedure took about an hour. The results are GREAT! The fact that I can easily get my finger on the trigger and feels like a trigger should was well worth it!!

Thanks for the wonderful research & development for this!!

Ordered the Max 9 trigger mod kits. Fast shipping. Performed the mod yesterday. Mod video excellent for a fairly complex job. Trigger pull prior to mod, average 6.2 along with long pull. After mod, pull consistent 3.7 along with noticeably shorter pull. Thanks guys!! Excellent product!

Excellent upgrade to my max 9. The install was fairly easy I polished all of the related components and the trigger pull is smooth and light. (I have not tested it with a trigger pull gauge) I think the trigger pull difference is noticeable enough. I’m very satisfied and recommend this product you’ll love it

I've used the stock Ruger trigger and another after market trigger on my Max9. They were both anoying to my finger and resulted in poor groups. This M-carbo trigger is very comfortable for my finger and has resulted in far smaller groups and a happier finger. To be honest, I also had the spring kit installed as well as some parts pollished be M-carbo. All of which contributed to a vastlt improved pistol for me.

Big upgrade from the stock Max 9 Pro trigger. I was regretting purchasing the Max 9 because of the trigger but with the new MCARBO trigger I

feel much better. Install was easy especially with their installation video.

The trigger Ruger should have installed

Great upgrade to the factory trigger. I have large-ish hands and fingers and really appreciate the extra room you get inside the trigger guard with the M-Carbo trigger. Side to side slop in the factory trigger is almost completely eliminated. The flat face allows your finger to naturally get into the correct orientation. The overtravel set screw is a little touchy to set up correctly. You may need to adjust it a little while at the range to get the feel that you want. The great thing is you CAN adjust the trigger travel. Bravo M-Carbo. ps. Don't forget to use red threadlocker on the set screw. pps. Be careful not to let any springs go flying across your shop when disassembling your Max9!

It really does shorten the stroke by quite a bit and allows you to adjust it so it's as short as possible while still allowing the gun to reset. Combined with the spring kit my Max9 now feels pretty darn close to my Sig P320's trigger. Definitely fixed the one issue I had with the gun.
