Received my wrench and replace the springs, trigger and guard. If you are going to replace anything on your sub2000 you must get this wrench. No marking up the finish and works really well. I have the 9mm gen 2 and I'm glad I got mine.

The only part of the wrench I can use is for the collar. The thread protector wrench is useless it doesn't fit. The e clip fork is to thick. 2 pocket screw driver's works way better and is faster. Great parts but the tools not so good.

I agree with some of the other reviews posted. The only tool is used/found to be useful is the collar wrench. The safety clip removal tool is too thick, if it were tapered, it'd be much more useful. If it were sold as a collar wrench only, I'd give it 5 stars and still would've purchased it. I only gave it 4 stars because I don't feel it lives up to its multi tool name.

I love the fact that MCARBO has tried to make a tool that will suit everything that needs to be done on a wep. Unfortunately Keltec changes things in production that this tool only fit the nut on my front sight. I was hoping it would at least take care of the trigger safety cir/clips but two jewelers drivers and some masking tape to catch the little bastards solved that issue. As I said no fault no issue, I got it with the trigger bundle so I didn’t pay an ass loss for it but Keltec keeps changing shit so it’s impossible for an aftermarket company to keep up.

A Must Have

This tool is a must have if you are doing any sort of modifications to your SUB2000. Why waste time with a hammer a punch to get the castle nut off, or use two punches as "chopsticks" to get the C-lips off the cross-bolt safety? This tool will save you time and aggravation.

Very well made and heavy duty. I needed it to properly tighten the receiver collar. It fits perfectly. The price is right.

A Must-Have for SUB 2000 Disassembly

I originally tried the 'brass punch method' of removing the castle nut from my S2K and got nowhere fast. I read of people using a heat gun to 'release' the threadlocker and then using a strong hand grip or a strap wrench, but the thought of heat gun + polymer didn't appeal to me.

I ordered the wrench and it made removing the castle nut easy-peasy. No issues with that function.

The opposite end of the wrench is supposed to be an E-clip removal tool for use on the cross-bolt safety. In my experience, the wrench is too thick to be used as described in the video - there is not sufficient clearance (or somehow I was doing it wrong). I was able to get the E-clip removal barely started with the tool, but not to the extent that I would have liked.

IMHO, I'd like to see the tool made from thinner stock and sold at a lower price point. A thinner tool should still be able to remove the castle nut (mine wasn't very hard at all with the tool), provide better clearance for E-clip removal and *should* allow for a lower price point.

All-in-all, this is an essential tool for complete disassembly of your SUB 2000.

Almost Perfect

Was a necessity to remove the odd size castle nut on my 2’nd gen Sub2k. That end worked flawlessly. Unfortunately I spent way to much time scratching up the gun & not enough time measuring the c-clip removal end. The larger size was actually capturing the clip instead of pushing it out. Really easy with a needle nose though. KelTec probably charged the size after Mcarbo made the tool

Just like all the other M.Carbo products, precision, quality and worth the investment for maintaining the Sub-2000.

The wrench is great for helping to work on my Sub 2K. I had trouble taking off the thread protector before I got the wrench. Now no problem. The most amazing thing was the service and speed in which I received my order. They shipped it the day I put in my order, Friday and i'm using it on Monday. The way service should be. If I need something and you guys have it, you have my orders. Thanks for your support of our veterans.

Armorer's Wrench doesn't work for all Sub 2000

I got this tool as part of the Sub 2000 upgrade for my Gen 2. While the slots at the end of the metal collar nut lined up with the fingers of this tool, the fingers on the tool were too long and did not go in far enough to grab the collar. So this did not work for me. I ended up using a strap wrench and was then able to remove the collar nut.

Ordered the Armorer's Wrench/Multi Tool so I could do my own work on the Sub 2000 Gen 2. This tool is built like a tank, exactly what I was asking for. Fast shipping, took advantage of a 1 day discount that was offered. Received in just a couple of days from placing order. These people are great to work with!! Kudos as they understand what customer service really is. THANKS

I got this with the upgrade kit. I found no use for it on my gen 2. I wish it was an option. It just makes the kit more expensive.

I couldn't find a use for it. Wasn't helpfully on my sub 2k. Wish the kit was offered without it.
