The Unquiet Professional is a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization committed to recognizing and honoring our nation’s Gold Star & Surviving Families, Veterans, and military families by providing rewarding and purposeful opportunities to heal from the wounds of war.
SSG Michael H Simpson was a Green Beret working with C Company 4th Battalion 1st Special Forces Group in support of Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan. Injured by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on 27 April, he succumbed to his injuries on May 1, 2013. He leaves behind his wife, Krista, and two sons, Michael and Gabriel. The Foundation has been organized in order to give back to the military community that has been so supportive & generous to the Simpson Family.

The Army's Green Berets, America's Quiet Professionals, are a brotherhood of elite warriors who have been waging silent wars for decades.
They carried the mantle of freedom into Afghanistan on September 12, 2001 and continue to fight there and in Iraq still today.
The regiment has seen a lot of battle and the men and their families need our
support.
