I have never worked on or replaced a trigger before in my life, and was very intimidated.
Being the first time doing anything like this, I was very surprised on how easy it was, it only took a few short minutes.
I am very happy with it.
As good as advertised

Easy to Install, Great Results!!

This little spring is an inexpensive and effective way to tune an already great trigger. I recommend a few minutes of research into the torque settings for the stock screws and watch the short video on installation before you get start the procedure. Once started it only takes 10 or 15 minutes to disassemble the rifle, install the new spring and reassemble. My trigger pull went from 2.12 pounds to 1.35. Still feels safe and stable, the break is very deliberate and controlled.

Lowered trigger pull from about 4lbs to just under 2lbs. Mcarbo's own video makes install a breeze. Couldn't be happier.
I was skeptical
review-star review-star review-star review-star review-star
I was skeptical after watching the video on You Tube . I thought it was too good to be true but didn’t cost much to see first hand so I ordered 2 for my Tikkas in 25-06 and 308. Shipping was fast and after about 10 minutes both rifles trigger pull were reduced 50%. From 3lbs to right at 1.5 lbs. The springs are less stiff and definitely smaller gauge material so I am wondering how long they will last but as for right now these factory triggers are sweet and can’t wait to check them out on some targets. Basically if you own a Tikka rifle this is a no brainer unless you just prefer a heavier trigger pull and not interested too much about precision. Thank you M Carbo.

Question:
Will the Tikka t3x spring work on the Tikka t1x rimfire ?
August 31, 2023 6:01 AM
Answers
The Tikka T3x trigger spring is not directly compatible with the Tikka T1x Rimfire due to differences in their trigger mechanisms. While both are from Tikka, their designs cater to different calibers and actions. The T1x, being a rimfire rifle, has a unique trigger assembly that does not share interchangeable parts with the T3x centerfire rifles. If you're looking for a lighter trigger pull on your T1x, you'll need a spring specifically designed for the T1x. M*CARBO does not currently offer a T1x-specific trigger spring kit

Question:
I have a Tikka T3x TACT A1 and have adjusted the factory trigger down to a bit over 2 pounds. Would it be worthwhile to change out the stock trigger spring with yours?
May 19, 2023 11:21 AM
Answers
Upgrading the factory trigger spring in your Tikka T3x TACT A1 can be a worthwhile modification depending on your specific goals for trigger feel and pull weight. Here's a breakdown to help you decide: Current Factory Trigger Adjustment The Tikka T3x TACT A1 factory trigger is already highly adjustable and known for its smoothness. You've adjusted it to a pull weight of just over 2 pounds, which is within its lower limit for a precise and crisp feel. Benefits of the M*CARBO Trigger Spring Lower Trigger Pull Weight: M*CARBO's trigger spring is designed to reduce the pull weight further, often allowing for pull weights in the range of 1-1.5 pounds. This is excellent for precision shooting, particularly in long-range applications where minimal trigger movement is desired. Enhanced Feel and Control: The spring upgrade can result in a lighter, more consistent break, potentially improving your shooting experience. Customizability: The spring allows shooters to achieve even finer control over their trigger pull than the factory setup, giving you a custom-tailored trigger feel. Considerations Intended Use: For precision shooting or competitive applications, the reduced pull weight and smoother operation can be a significant advantage. For hunting or scenarios where safety under stress is a concern, you might prefer the factory pull weight for added safety. Safety and Reliability: Be cautious with very light trigger pull weights. Ensure the rifle remains safe and passes all function tests (e.g., drop tests, bolt cycling) after the modification. Factory Limitations: If you've already adjusted the factory trigger to its minimum pull weight and still desire a lighter pull, the M*CARBO spring is a logical next step. Recommendation If you want to reduce your pull weight further or improve the trigger's overall feel, upgrading to the M*CARBO Trigger Spring is likely worth it. It's a cost-effective way to enhance performance without compromising the integrity of the Tikka trigger system. Just ensure proper installation and testing after the upgrade. If you'd like detailed installation instructions or support, let me know!

Question:
I put one of these in my T3 Hunter rifle . . . any reason why this would have the same result in the TX1 rimfire rifle . . . as they seem to be of the same design?
rjferber July 9, 2021 5:58 PM
Answers
he Tikka T3 Hunter and the Tikka TX1 Rimfire rifles share some similarities in design and function as both are manufactured by Tikka, but there are notable differences in their internal mechanics and chambering. If you installed an upgrade or component designed for the T3 Hunter into the TX1 Rimfire, the result might vary due to the following factors: Key Design Differences Action Size and Type: The T3 Hunter is designed for centerfire cartridges and features a larger action to accommodate the pressures and dimensions of those rounds. The TX1 Rimfire is tailored for smaller, rimfire rounds, which operate under lower pressures and require a different bolt and chamber design. Trigger Mechanism: While Tikka often uses similar trigger systems across its lineup, the trigger housing and adjustments may differ slightly between the two models. Bolt Dimensions and Function: The bolt dimensions and travel distance differ between the T3 Hunter and the TX1 Rimfire due to the ammunition they handle. A part like a bolt handle or sear might not align perfectly or function identically. Magazine and Feeding System: The feeding systems in rimfire and centerfire rifles are fundamentally different, so components related to this may not be cross-compatible. Potential for Compatibility If the part in question is not specifically tied to the rifle's caliber (e.g., a trigger spring, recoil pad, or bolt shroud), it might work if the design and dimensions are compatible. However, parts integral to chambering, bolt operation, or feeding might cause reliability or safety issues when used across these platforms. Recommendations Check Part Specifications: Verify whether the manufacturer lists the part as compatible with both models. Test Functionality Carefully: If you’ve already installed the part in the TX1 Rimfire, test it in a safe environment to ensure proper cycling, feeding, and ejection without any malfunctions. Contact Manufacturer: Reach out to the part manufacturer or Tikka for detailed compatibility guidance. If you can share the specific part or upgrade, I can provide a more targeted response!
