Purchased the flipup rear sight and finally put it on while upgrading inner components. Went to range today and site was good but hhad issues with forward creep... line of sight kept on getting smaller after each round. Screws are tight as described in video with 242 locktite. Repositioned rear sight and continued shooting. Personal preference I like the smaller peep hole on the fixed sight better than folding sight but again that is me. All in all it was a nice upgrade but will probablr put the stock sight back on. Good mod all in all though.
The flip up sight does not deploy when I open the Sub2k. I’ve adjusted about every way I know how and nothing works. It will pop up sometimes but most of the time it doesn’t. In the grand scheme of things it’s not a huge deal because It will always be used in the down position unless the red dot dies. The reason I bought it in the first place is because I prefer not having to look through the rear sight when using the red dot. This is not a gun I used for defense, it's mostly a range toy or a hiking gun and I don’t hike much anymore. If it flipped up consistently I'd give it 5 stars V/r

Replacement was easy, especially after watching the video. With the taller sight I'm not burying my face into the butt stock and I can still use my ear muffs. Being able to flip down the rear sight is nice when using a red dot.
A little trisl and error is required to get the tension on the hinge and sight just right. Follow the video instructions and it's about a 10 min. job. Works great!
Ordered and received promptly the rear sight and tube cover. I found both items to be of superior quality and an improvement of my Sub 2000. The sight picture is 100 times improved whereas before the sight was useless. The videos attached to each product made it super simple to install. Now to get them to design a folding front sight. I just wish Mcarbo made improved parts for every gun. I’ve got my sub2k decked out with a bunch of Mcarbo parts and it’s a totally different gun. I just recently added a folding rear sight and it works great! The Mcarbo sight sits higher and it fixes one of my number one complaints, that I have to get way too far down on the tube to be able to see the sights. Also, now I can fold that sucker down and snap on the pulsar Talion to do some stealthy coyote thumping with some subsonic 9mm. Mcarbo parts make a cool rig into a bad@ss rig!
Quality sight. Allows your sight to lay down when you don'twant to use it. Easy to install.
Great quality, easy to install. I plan to add an optical sight with the mounting bracket so this folding sight is a must.
Another awesome product by MCarbo. Easy to follow video for installation and probably the fastest shipping company I deal with also.
Update to my review of 6/7/21 indicating I had to return the item at my expense. They sent me a return label so bad on me. However, I am still looking at 25% re-stocking fee, due to nothing I did wrong. Apparently, reading other reviews, the success of the item depends on the end user. With this being the case, they should not charge a re-stocking fee! roy
