Ordered the rear tactical peep sight from M-CARBO for my new sub2000 gen 2 to replace cheap plastic sight that came with rifle. Appreciated the military discount and fast delivery! Installed easy and is far better than original equipment.
This is a well engineered sight fir the Sub2K. I have both the open sight and the peep sight. Prefer the peep due to old geezer eyes. These are not plastic parts but good, solid, smooth operating pieces. And they are accurate. I can make 10" steel targets ring(most of the time) at 50 yds with my .40 cal.
Easy to install. The installation video was great.
Made it easier to use open. Sights. Choice of larger peep of notch. Easy install.

Just installed the Peep sight on my Sub2000. What a difference over the old factory sight. The Brothers at MCARBO know what they are doing. The video for installation was quick and easy to follow. The results are amazing. Had a minor issue with delivery and they were quick and efficient in quickly solving the problem. All in all a great company to deal with. After a minor bit of adjustment to the front sight it was delivering tight groups on a 6" plate at 100'. Looking forward to a day on the range to really adjust the front sight and extend the distance - MCARBO says up to 125 yards - I'll be happy at 100! Now waiting for them to offer an upgrade for the front sight!
This is a great addition to my sub 2000. I found the factory sights to have a far to small line of sight. These are perfect especially if you have your but stock expanded to the last notch. Super easy to install and shipped fast. Worth every penny.
Love the sight. Went on in less than 10 min. Don't have to worry about breaking the plastic part now!
The notch sight is the way to go for rear sight upgrade. The Kel tec sub2000 peep has flaws it’s too short and the hole is too small. I also have an omega tactical light and green laser mounted on the lower rail so it folds fine, Excellent upgrade also added the charger upgrade as well, My partner had the same rig. It’s a terrific carbine! No issues.
This is a must have if you own the Key-Tec Sub2k, no doubt about it. A beautiful weapon like this ones deserves a masterwork crafted rear sight post that is more suitable for CQ Combat. I personally cannot stand looking at a red dot, which is what I use on mine, when there is a rear sight post that is more suitable for a long distance shot sitting right in front of it. I believe it makes the weapon less efficient. Also, since this peephole is a little bigger in diameter, it is just better to shoot through for a carbine. GREAT JOB on this design!
The sights on theKel-tec 2000 are too low to be comfortable when sighting to fire, the up grade just makes it that much better.
No more getting punched in the face by charging tube, great upgrade, easy install. THANKS folks.
Easy to install, worth the money because it raises the cheek off and even helps with individuals who wear glasses.
Yeah I Bought it. I also bought a Sub 2000 but could not stand the punishment my cheek took after 220 Rounds let alone the first 5. Mcarbo was the only one that carried the Higher sight to correct this issue.
This sight are the best upgrade you can do to the kel tek sub 2000 gen 2 much better than factory.
