The new rear sight isn't any taller than my old Gen1 sight. Rather disappointing. The option to flip the sight down while the gun is unfolded is nice. The aluminum sight is more durable than the old plastic sight.
The MCARBO Dudes provide excellent, A-1 service. Fast service. Incredibly fast delivery. The rimfire bullet trajectory chart with my order was an unexpected added value, something that has become almost unknown in the business world today. Now to the product. Absolutely the best fit and finish possible. Including the hex tool eliminates using the wrong tool and buggering up the installation. Keep up the good work and be safe out there.
I own the first Sub 2000 and the Gen 2 (great Rifle) Rear folding sight is a MUST, I've been looking for this product for sometime, helps a lot in lining up the front sight faster for a faster shot and allows more low profile red dot . Great product, Thanks

Huge upgrade from the factory sight. Eye relief is awsome.
This sight being slightly higher and peep hole bigger makes for less eye strain and less shock to the cheek. Big improvement over stock. Thanks for all the improvements to the sub 2k and for the lightening fast service.
This sight (notched) is a must have if you do much subsonic work. Faster sight picture acquirement and will co-witness through your optic. Quick installation of a quality part. Am very pleased with the results.

Made it to the range and sighted in. Excellent, still have problems with sight weld and Ears. Will switch to plugs. Not problem with rifle but fat cheeks and big ears.
Nice product easy to install and it does allow your cheek a better position on the rifle for sighting. Haven't fired the rifle yet and was wondering how much the front sight has to be raised to compensate for the raise in the rear site. Great service and very fast shipping.
I received my rear notch sight in a timely manner. I was hoping for a quality part and not a cheap piece of crap. I was very pleased with the quality and overall design. The YouTube video was beneficial with installation and especially the minimal adjusting to get proper functionality of the pop-up sight. MCarbo's communication was appreciated during the beginning, receiving and follow-up to ensure I received what I ordered.

OUTSTANDING! Better than the other company that makes rear sights. Easier sight acquisition and doesn’t lose fitment like the other brand. The other brand kept coming lose and the set screw kept stripping out. I would highly recommend getting this rear sight over any others!
Vast improvement over original Gen 1 sight...added height makes the sub2k more comfortable to use and I've noticed groups are much tighter. Very easy to install.
Awsome upgrade just for fast target acquisition and comfort.
Reviewed the installation video and changed out the sights on two Sub2000's in just a few minutes. No issues other than I did have to adjust the screw tension slightly so the sight would automatically rotate on one of the guns. The other one worked right away. This completes my M-Carbo upgrades of all the internal parts including the ramp, the trigger guard, the bolt handle upgrade, the recoil buffer and the receiver tube cover.
