easy instll no brainer, even for an AF guy lol. Have to get some blue 242 for screw. have not tried it out yet.
I have several mods for the sub 2000 every one has been top notch. With these mods, Mcarbo has woven a silk purse out of a sows ear! There isn’t a company more deserving of your hard earned dollars than Mcarbo. Keep up the good work!
I recently purchased a Gen 2 Sub2K and this was 1 of 4 modifications made to the rifle before its 1st range event. Removal of OEM part and installation of the new rear peep sight was simple and quick. The longest part of the job was to wait for cure time of the thread locking compound. Additionally, watch MCarbo's videos for their easy to follow directions. The peep sight is larger to allow for faster target acquisitions. It sits higher which helps bring the shooter's head up, instead of being hunkered down next to the buffer tube. The taller sight helps present a natural point of aim. I'm very satisfied with this peep sight! I strongly recommend all Sub2K owners upgrade their rear sight to this unit. You will not be disappointed!
I only installed my new peep sight yesterday so I haven't had the opportunity to field test it but I can already see it's a huge improvement over the factory sight. This is a quality product and the customer service, as always, second to none. Installation was easy, especially when done while watching instructional video. Well worth the investment.
Love it makes it easier to find the target
I installed this Upgraded Peep Sight and it makes it so much better, larger peep hole provides a better sight picture and I can take my face off of the bolt tube some, and aluminum now, it's so nice. Thank you M*Carbo, Darrell

This rear sight is a high quality upgrade, and is easy to install by watching the installation video. The increased height of the rear sight allows a better sight picture, and keeps me from having to press my cheek against the receiver. This sight is a great upgrade!
Easy to install. Worked with no problems. Folds as it should when carbine is folded. I would buy again if I get another version of the Sub 2000. (Currently have 40 S&W with Glock magazines).
Great upgrade. Its a bit stiff when folded using the lever, but manageable. Great installation video.
The rear sight installed perfectly, my S2K closes way better than before, smoothly with a glide! I haven't been able to make it to the range yet. The sight was delivered really fast. The installation videos are very detailed, I recommend watching them even if you already know how to disassemble & reassemble your weapons. These guys are top notch! I'm very happy 👍

Nice to shoot without having a crik in my neck from trying to look through that short and small peep sight. Chose notched sight and have much more room to see what's going on.
