Ordered the notch sight replacement. Great product and easy install with the videos. Great customer service. Wish MCARB offered a fiber optic from sight post to replace the original one. Sign up for the military/law enforcement discount, if you haven't already.. waiting for the muzzle brake to arrive too.
Well made product, installation took maybe 5 minutes.
Easy installation helped by videos, realized that square notch did not work well with my eyes and asked if peep sight was available without entire assembly and was told it was not. I would appreciate some means of addressing this, possibly both in the same package at a reasonable price?
I installed this on my Sub 2000 yesterday and the difference in sight was immediate. So much easier to acquire the target and pick up front post now so glad I made the change. I went with the peep site this was a well thought out part the beveling of the sight really was a great touch!
Totally worth the upgrade, Better sight picture, Much better head position. What it should be, You will be happy with this product.

This rear sight is metal, and the design opens up the sights making it easier to target. The folding mechanism works well, and allows you to retract it manually. Easy installation with the video. Make sure to use the loctite when installing. Great design and flawless manufacturing.
MCARBO really came through with this one. The most annoying thing about this rifle to me was the way I had to get my head so low to use the factory sights. I purchased the notch version and this rifle is so much more comfortable to shoot.
after installing recoil buffer i installed this sight kit. This is much better then the factory original. Much easier to get on target with it. Works great.easy to install.
I wasn't sure how big of a difference having a .06" taller rear sight would be, especially at this price.... But, I've been happy with the rest of their accessories, so I took a chance. I went with the peep rear and wow, what a huge change! I don't have to squinch my cheek down on the tube anymore and now have a much better sight picture. Easily able to hit 4" spinners at 100yds. So, despite my initial reservations, I can now say this upgrade is worth every penny.
This is a great purchase for the SUB-2000. It's a little taller, the peep hole is larger, and it is sturdy. Installation was pretty straightforward and took about 5 minutes. I was immediately shooting better with an improved sight picture and some adjusting the front sight for height.
After many attempts with different lubricants and adjustments, I finally threw up my hands and went and watched a movie. As I was watching the movie, my relaxed brain thought "You polished the other metal parts why not polish the bolt and the sides of the sight that rub against the polymer" I did and it now works like it should. I had to do some thinking so it only got 4 stars.
Found a Sub 2000 at the local gun store, passed it by. Pain In The ASS to get sights lined up. Did some searching, found this solution from MCARBO, and bought the rifle. Ordered the peep sights, easy install, and soooooo much better. Raised the rear sight up enough that my cheek bone thanks me.?
