Definitely an improvement over the stock sight. Crisper sight picture. It Is higher than the stock sight but not high enough for me to get a comfortable sight picture shooting off the bench. I would like about 1/4" higher. The install is easy. I rated it down 1 star for not being tall enough .
I recently purchased the notched rear sight for my sub 2000. Installation was straight forward and easy ... plenty of support in the video link Chris supplied post purchase I highly recommend MCARBO products for the sub 2000 ... they help make a good gun better
Tries the tandomkross sight took it off put the original back on found mcarbo bought their sight and excellent can acquire the front sight much faster and better. Worth every penny
I am sure glad I bought this. Installed easily and what a difference it makes in target acquisition..no more leaning over and in to use the old sight. Follow the install video and you will have no problems whatsoever. Thanks MCARBO .. your products never cease to amaze me.
took me less than 10 min to install both peep sights and double finger charging handle. videos were amazing!! sights really made a quicker target acquisition and the double chatging handle takes at least 50% less energy to pull.
I bought the notched rear sight. It is only about an 1/8th inch taller, but it does make a big difference. My 1st gen sub 2000 is now much more enjoyable to shoot. I couldn't get my eye low enough on the rifle to shoot it comfortably before adding this. I definitely recommend it. I also added a TandomKross fiber optic front sight and together they are a game changer for me.
Another great product from MCarbo. Taller sight makes it easier to get sight picture without hunching over. Larger aperture helps, aluminum construction feels so much beefier. Had issue with sight creep but added some extra Loctite, snugged it down and good to go.
Get this. I no longer need to crush my cheek onto the buffer tube to line up the sights. Installation was very easy; done in 10-15 minutes. This is a needed upgrade.
I got the notch version. Its metal instead of plastic. Thats a plus. Went in pretty easy and had to spend a couple minutes getting the tension right. The video helped a lot. A big improvement in getting a sign picture. I used to have to scrunch my face down low tighly against the gun to get alignment. Literally a pain in the neck. Now so much easier.
Much easier to use than original.
I recently found myself wanting to upgrade some parts on my Sub 2000. While searching the web for the best of the best parts I came across MCARBO. I think I watched 20-30 videos on different products and upgrades before I purchased the front sight. I received it in the mail yesterday and rushed home to install it. The video was very informative and made installation very quick and easy. I'm blown away by the quality of this part, and can't wait to order all of the other upgrades available. To whoever's reading this I want to let you know you have a lifetime costumer.
Just installed the rear peep sight onto my Gen 2. The installation video really helped and everything fit together perfectly. One thing I noticed is that not only is the new sight higher, but the larger aperture is wide enough that I can see both wings on either side of the front sight. Now I just have to wait for a day for the Loctite to set so I can get to the range. Great job!
So MUCH better than the stock sight. Sight picture was much improved. A must among the upgrades from M*CARBO
