Steel vs plastic ? Let me think. I'll go with steel. Solid, easy install and better sight picture with the enlarged aperture. Replaced the front sight post with a Blitzkreig orange chevron. The combination provides much faster sight acquisition and finer aiming point. All the internal upgrades are useless if you can't get a good sight picture.
Definite improvement over OEM. Well designed and manufactured upgrade by MCARBO. I really like how it went together.
Another great upgrade. Easy install and right to the range the next day.. After I adjusted the front site I was hitting the bulls eye in no time. The biggest plus for me is my ear protection isn't hitting the gun anymore. I'm glad I got the upgrade.. A little pricey or else I would have given it 5 stars but it is a big improvement and I will have it for life now...
I replaced the rear sight as instructed\, watching video numerous times. It would not deploy upon opening after 3 hours of adjusting using gun oil and/or gun grease. But okay, at least I can use it, NOT! It is still much too low even with the front sight as low as possible. Now they tell me to return it, at my expense, there will be a restocking fee and that's it. Well, so much for the customer is always right. I would not recommend this item.
Another great product from the brotherhood. Not only is the fold-down pretty much essential if you have an optic (I have the MCarbo flip-to-side topic mount),the factory one feels like a plastic toy next to this one.
First of all it was very nicely made well packaged and fast delivery it is so much better than this stock you get a nice full grip and it’s much easier to pull back I am really pleased with it a few more parts And I will be completely M carbonized.
I over complicated the install. Then I decided to follow the directions from the YouTube video and approximately 3 mins later I loved my Sub 2k again! Thanks War Fighters! Ooorah!
Installed the new peep sight today on my Kel-Tec Gen 2 Sub-2000. Followed Chris's installation video with no problems. Letting the Loctite Blue cure overnight. Sight picture is perfect and allows me to acquire the front sight easier and more quickly. Will be taking it to the range this week, with my wife, to see the groups we can shoot with the new rear sight.
This is great very easy to install. And so much easier to bring it in on target. Love the feel of this doesn't feel like the OEM feels high quality as opposed to the cheap feel of the OEM. Haven't taken it to the range yet but this is a must have addition if you aren't using a red dot or the like.
The difference between this and the standard rear sight is noticeable. Wider aperture, more comfortable cheek weld, easy to install. Can also be folded out of the way. Just a bit expensive for what it is, in my opinion.
I installed this sight in 5 minutes and was just so much happier with the feel of the gun overall. I enjoy not plastering my face against the unforgiving stock tube. I also feel better knowing one less part is made of plastic.
Haven’t used it at the range to test the accuracy of the viewfinder from the New Rear Folding Notched Site; however the assembly was simple as was explained, it looks and feels great. It’s always good to have a product look and work as advertised. Thanks . W.Kearse
Easy to install following video on website. Got the notched sight and pleased with it. Opens automatically when gun is opened.
Super easy install and a very well designed and made product.
Easy install for sure. Do you need this to auto deploy every time? Install pivot handle horizontally towards the rear while sight is vertical and it pops up 100% of the time for me. Have an optic? Vertical pivot handle on the vertical sight and it stays down. Don't forget the locktite.
