I ordered it a couple of days ago, received it quickly, installed it in 20 minutes. I like the notch sight and the option to flip it down and use an optic. The sight is well made and like all MCARBO products I have seen compliments the units overall aesthetics as well as serving a specific purpose.
Just installed my new tactical folding sight. It is super easy to install and the videos are very easy to follow. My only challenge has been trying to get the tension just right for the sight. It seems like it is either too loose and doesn't feel like the screw is snug, or the screw it tight and the sight will hardly rotate. Once I get that perfected, it will be a 5 star. It is way easier to see and acquire the target than with the factory sights.
Rear peep was fast and easy to install do not have to cram face down to get a good site picture. thanks
This takes about 5 minutes to install and the only tool you need is an Allen Wrench and a drop of lock tight .. I purchased the notched out one vs peep and like it, since I don't have to fumble around in low light situation trying to find it ..
Hight Quality Part. Durable finish. Easy to install. Fast shipping. I ordered the peep sight. It raised the sight window, just enough to make the gun comfortable to shoot. Before I got the peep sight, I had installed the bolt tube cover, and could not get a comfortable cheek weld. together they work perfectly. Great customer service, and response time. The stock sight was not cutting it. I’m a big guy so with cheek pressed firmly the stock sight did not provide a clear picture. I opted for the pee hole version here. Installation was simple and quick especially with their videos and was up and running in no time. Works great. Nice sight picture especially with an added bolt tube cover. Well worth it.
This site is much better than the OEM peephole. Makes shooting a 33rd clip a pleasure.
I can’t recommend this upgrade enough. It’s a no-brainer if you want to use iron sights on the Sub2K. Plus you don’t have to take the gun apart to install.
Great quality and excellent upgrade over factory, larger peep allows me to acquire target much quicker and the extra height is a plus, also very easy to install.
While I love the Sub2000 I didn’t like the rear sight at all; especially that it didn't fold out of the way. This new rear sight is awesome and great quality compared to the garbage Keltec uses from the factory. I bought the open sight and marked the insides of the well with a bit of whiteout and put a dot on front sight for quicker acquisition. I would highly recommend this sight and pretty much all the MCARBO upgrades. I love all that I have added thus far.
I purchased the notched sight, and it is exactly what my old eyes needed for my intended use. Installation was a snap and it performs as advertised. The sight window gives me a "useful" sight picture.
This is a MUST have .. Replacing that plastic rear sight was one the first things that I did .. I put the open ones on both a 9 and 40 and love the field of view I get from not having to look through that peep hole .. The one thing I did notice is that the front post only come up about half way and according to MCarbo it was designed this way, to match a similar placement as if you were looking through a peep, a little getting use to, but still works fine ..
My new folding rear sight went in without a hitch, I cant wait to try it out. My sub 2K is what I use for a CQB weapon and with the Mcarbo parts I have put in it I have no worries about taking this Sub 2K into a firefight if needed.
I really enjoy the S2K platform, but was frustrated with the height of the sights. I could not get behind the sight without having to roll my head over to an unnatural position. Even then the diameter of the OEM peep hole was too small. I drilled out the OEM sight and made it semi-usable, but still couldn't take a natural cheek weld. The MCarbo taller sight definitely helps and allows a more natural cheek weld. Of course I am greedy and would like it even taller, but that would require a custom front sight height. The current MCarbo taller rear sight works well within the adjustment range of the OEM front sight. Nice job Guys.
I installed the notch pistol sight on my sub 2000 Gen 2 chambered in 40 caliber Smith & Wesson. Shipping was very quick and it came well package with lots of free extras. The installation was incredibly easy and just brought it back from the range and it kept zero quite nicely.
