EASY TO INSTALL AND ADJUST WITH VIDEO ON ORDERING WEBSITE . I NOW HAVE A CRISP 2LB TRIGGER PULL. EXCELLENT PRICE ALSO.
This spring lightened the trigger pull considerably. Very easy to install. Had previously installed a spring kit on a pre 2008 model 70 and it made a huge difference as well. Great product by MCarbo.
I have used Mcarbo Springs in all my Tikka T3"s and just so happened I run across a nice Pre 64 Model 70 Winchester at a local gun shop I've have owned several and wish I had never got shed of them but never could get the right trigger pull without having to order a custom trigger I wanted to keep it all original , so I tried the Mcarbo Spring and just like advertised , took me from a 6 pound trigger to 2.5 pounds , installation took about 5 minutes and saved me $200 . Keep up the good work and I'm proud to be part of the brotherhood.
Easy installation brought my trigger from 5 lb 3 oz down the 3lbs 7 oz. Which is light even on a hunting rifle for me .. A fraction of the cost of a aftermarket trigger …..
Definitely a difference in pull weight and easily adjustable over travel. Not to light for a trusting and reliable hinting rifle, not to heavy for a moa shooting. If your on the fence, get it. For the money one of the best upgrades.
Awesome product and instructions , fast shipping too Totally different rifle for me
Customer was happy with the pull. I went from 5.5 down to 3 lbs just what he wanted. Little stone work on the trigger but the spring helped. Nice job thumbs up to you guys. I would recommend this product.
Installed this in a Win 70 Coyote rifle. I already had the factory trigger adjusted to about 3lbs. This spring kit reduced it to about 2 lbs and also gave it a much cleaner break with no creep, similar to a Timny trigger but way cheaper.
Spring is as shown. Just didn't get any better results between stock and new spring. Give it one star because it was cheap. Now have to spend some money for a whole trigger.
Trigger kit went together just like the instructional video claimed it would. Absolutely no problem with disassembly or installation. Spring kit fit and allowed for trigger improvement. Using gunsmith block and 13 oz hammer eased the process. Thank you for helping to improve my marksmanship.
I got one of these for my fairly old Model 70 in .270. Installation was a breeze and it reduced my trigger pull from just over 5# to about 2 lb and 4 oz, or 2.25#. Very sweet and crisp pull. This is the best money you can spend on your Winchester model 70.
Installs just like the video - 1.6 lbs trigger pull.
I have installed 7 of these and each have brought triggers to or below 2.5 to 2 lbs. I like my hunting triggers right around 2 and this really always does the job. I had one horrendous 6.5lb trigger and it reduced it to 3.5, that was the worst of 6 though. I highly recommend these kits!
Bought the MCARBO spring kit for a Stainless Classic Winchester Model 70 to improve the factory heavy trigger pull. Followed the instructions on the internet. It was very easy to change the trigger spring as indicated in the on-line video. The result was as advertised. I don't have a trigger pull gauge, but I would estimate that the reduction was a minimum of 50%. I have ordered two more for my other Winchester Model 70s. I wholeheartedly would recommend this product to a friend.
Purchase one MCARBO spring kit for a pre-2008 Winchester M-70 Stainless Classic. Replaced the spring in less than 5 minutes as claimed in the add. The result was a trigger pull less than half of the factory spring. Was so impressed I bought two more for my other Model 70s. I would definitely recommend MCARBO to my friends who own a Winchester Model 70.
I got the kit for my used Winchester Model 70 Supergrade that is post 2008. Trigger started at a little over 3lbs with the adjustment all the way out... but I am a trigger snob (also have very small not so manly hands, and every bit helps me). ***I found that taking the sear actuator out is not needed... once everything else is out the actuator will flop out of the way to replace the small spring... saving the risk of more small parts to lose, bend, or brake***. ***definitely have a friend help with last step of putting everything back together*** Final trigger weight is 1lb 10.8oz
