First off the shipping was super fast. The video was a great asset to the spring change. This took about 10-15 minutes to do and I've never had the gun apart before. I absolutely love the trigger pull now. The accuracy is awesome!! what a difference. Thank you. Rick Otte U.S Army

I just received my Winchester mod 70 springs. Stock trigger was 5# 8 oz. New spring was a cinch to install and brought pull to 1# 7 oz which was a little light for a hunting rifle;so I put one nut back on and new pull was 2# 8 oz .Your video made install straight forward and total time was less than 10 minutes. Thanks for a super product

Factory trigger pull 6lbs 7.2oz on m70 laredo 300 win mag. Replaced w/ MCARBO spring and adjusted trigger pull as video suggested and was able to achieve 2lbs 5.2oz. What a remarkable product, $20 included shipping far cheaper that taking to gunsmith. Two thumbs up. Thanks guys

Wow, was ready to spend $150 on a new trigger. The video makes it so simple. I did leave one of the nuts in to increase the pull a bit (tightened down and used lock tight). My kids will be leaning to shoot with this rifle, 1.5lb was a tad light.

This simple trigger modification has significantly reduced MY trigger pull to the point I do not need to compensate for pulling my shots to the right due to 5 + pound trigger pull, reduced groups from two inches to - Minute of Angle. I have had this 1951 Winchester Model 70 in .270 since 1991. I found this $12 part by accident searching for solutions to increase my rifle accuracy. Worth the price? Without question.

THE spring for post-2008 Winchester

There are springs for the trigger only, but this kit has the trigger and sear springs, and it makes a bib difference. Lighter and a little more consistent pull. I removed only the sear to put both in, easy enough. Highly recommended.

This trigger spring is a great, cost effective solution. M-Carbo's instructions, both video and printed were very good.

So when you have a Winchester 70 that is Pre 2008, you know that you are handling a rifle that is built like a tank. My rifle is a heavy varmint in a weighted bench stock. When I ran out of trigger measurement with the original simple double lock nut system I assumed that I would need to purchase an aftermarket trigger assembly.

A short web search led me to M-Carbo and I realize that an even simpler spring arrangement was available. So, instead of spending $70-120 for a full assembly I was able to purchase a less than <$15 spring from M-Carbo that has my trigger at a very consistent 1.5# pull. The key word is consistent. The original spring pull weight wasn't the concern...consistency and feel was. This simple single spring arrangement is perfect.

The best part is the M-Carbo video shows how to do the final adjustments for overtravel and that "locks down" the consistency. Diving into trigger adjustments and replacements can me a bit un-nerving. This was actually a fun exercise. WATCH THE VIDEO first. Then REFER TO THE VISUAL SHOTS as you do the installation. The end result will be satisfying as you will find that you have make your trigger more consistent and you now have some "ownership under the hood" so to speak.

This is long winded review, I know. But, it is refreshing to find a product and a company that comes through with great and cost effective products. I will be sure to visit M-Carbo the next time I am in Clearwater!

Took it from 5 to 3 then 1.4 lbs! I AM A TRIGGER GOD

Spring alone took it from 5 pound factory pull to 3 pounds. Was able to adjust all trigger over-travel with video instructions. Flitz and a rotary tool took it to 1.4 pounds! Polish the sear and trigger people, polish it! All that adjustment fun with no pesky, safety issue aftertaste. MCARBO is a great company, great products and great support. Chris Nelson is a wizard and his videos make us all laugh. How about some "Chris Nelson is a Wizard" t-shirts? Fly off the shelves.

Tremedous improvment at a remarkable price!

I want to say just how impressed I am with this trigger spring kit. I had no idea such a simple modification to my triggers would make such an incredible difference! I admit I was quite skeptical and almost ordered new triggers for my 3 model 70 rifles, but boy am I glad a took a chance and ordered this product. These are just good old hunting rifles and I am so pleased with the simplicity of the modification and most of all the results. After watching your online instructional video, I was able to install the kits on my 3 rifles in less than an hour with great results. I just cannot wait to go out next weekend to check the sight in and the following to start Elk season with the improved triggers!

Thanks for a great product at such a great price, but most of all……Thanks for your great service!

Factory spring was almost 6 pounds, first spring I ordered from M Carbo brought it down to 4 1/2 pounds called M Carbo and received good customer service, got another spring which brought it down to 3 1/2 pounds and then installing this spring on my favorite hunting rifle I am very pleased with the trigger now. I gave four stars only because I had to install it twice. Very customer service and will be doing business with M Carbo in the future.

I have used this trigger spring in several Winchester rifles now and they work great. The last one had a 6lbs factory trigger pull. With swapping out the springs, it now has a 2.25lbs trigger pull. Great product!
