OEM on lightest setting was 4.5lbs. Installed this spring, now at a desired 2.5lbs. However, you lose the adjustability with this , luckily it came out right where I wanted it. A little pricey for a single spring, but was worth it since they did their homework and got it right. Still way less expensive than an aftermarket trigger.

Original trigger pull was approximately six pounds, after spring install, pull weight was reduced to slightly under three pounds. Install was very easy. My brother was extremely pleased with the results. Accuracy improvement for sure.

I brought this for my model 670 Winchester which has the same trigger in it as the model 70 . The spring kit actually does work ,it drop my trigger pull weight from 5.50 to a 2.1 oz love. Plus this company is great to deal with .
Easy to install and shipped quick . The spring doesnt really do anything to lighten trigger pull . At beginning it was around 5lb 10oz and now is around high 4s low 5lbs . Not a noticeable difference.
Installed spring following video instructions . Easy enough to fallow however Like another reviewer stated I left another nut on the stem . Using a RCBS trigger guage I reduced poundage from 5 lbs to 3 lbs . I like it there for me . On this particular Model 70 Its the XTR model from the 1980s .Supposedly copied after the model 54 Winchester model ? I gave it 4 stars because I haven't shot with it yet . It was good imo to replace the old hard spring an nuts with a softer one . Feels better now .

Ordered this spring and installed it per their video. After installing and adjusting the overtravel, have a very crisp 3 lb. trigger pull. Very happy with the results. Great job guys!
