I read the reviews on the upgrade. Watched the video. Looked simple enough. And it was. Very easy install. Very informational video on the install and the over travel. When from 5lbs to 2lbs. Works great.

I installed one of the Winchester M70 trigger spring kits on a new M70 Extreme SS. Installation went very well. I was able to reduce the trigger pull from the 4.6# from the factory to ~3#. Very acceptable for me. There may a a little more adjustability as I have not removed the trigger pull adjustment screw and tried for more reduction. During the installation, I did not remove sear engagement pin and sear engagement lever. I was able to position the new spring with 2 toothpicks, one having the spring on it and the other held it in place with some help from the "gunsmith's glue" while I removed the first toothpick. Just tried to save a step of removing and then reinstalling the sear engagement pin. Overall, very happy with the results. Like the other MCarbo products, this worked as advertised.
Shipped quickly, was easy to install following video with minimal amount of tools. Really reduced the trigger pulling force. Happy so far.
I paid $18.00 for this kit (shipping included) and was able to install it within 15 minutes following the instructional YouTube video. The spring is amazing but the overall value for this improvement to my model 70 is awesome. Can’t beat how much smoother the trigger is after the spring swap for the price.

The trigger pull on my grandfathers 1964 Model 70 was like a brick wall. No way to shoot accurately with that hard of a pull. This upgrade is quick and easy and provides a clean crisp brake. I complete refurbished this gun my grandfather left me when he died 30 yrs ago before ever pulling the trigger and then when I did I was heartbroken that it would be kept in the safe never to be used. This spring fixed the problem and will make this my go to gun for whitetails like it always was for him.
I got this for a Model 70 I was refurbing that had a horrible factory trigger. Followed the YouTube video directions, good to go. Trigger is now miles better than factory.
I installed this spring kit on a early 80's Model 70 Varminter in 22-250. Trigger pull was reduced to roughly 2 lbs. I only have a spring scale, so. Groups improved greatly due to more controllable trigger. I used the video on youtube for . Thank you MCARBO!!
After a little polishing and installing the spring kit my Winchester Laredo's trigger went from a gritty 4.5 pounds to a smooth 2.25 pounds. Will definitely buy again.
Purchased this for my 2005 Model 70 Coyote varmint rifle. The stock trigger was a horrible 10 lb pull. I easily followed the YouTube instructional video and swapped the spring out. I don't own a pull gauge but comparing it my other custom worked triggers, it puts right in the 2-3.5 lb range. What an excellent result for less than $15! This is the second item purchased from MCarbo and both are as advertised and quality parts. I will continue to buy from them without hesitation.
Installing was easy. Trigger adjustments were easy. Ended up with an excellent, crisp 2.5lb trigger. Fantastic. Well worth the cost.
Very easy install followed install video up to sear actuator pin, did not remove pin just pivoted actuator back removed spring and installed new with fine long nose pliers. Re installed trigger new spring and sear. Assembled rifle tested everything per video and tested trigger pull. New spring kit cut pull in half to 2lb.4oz. very satisfied.
Just received and installed the spring kit. WOW. Pull weight went from 4.75 lbs to 3 lbs consistently. The MOA trigger although says adjustable it really isn’t. Definitely recommend this kit. Installation was completed in short time. Highly recommended watching Chris’s video (a huge help). Customer service was very personable and helpful. Shipping, super fast. 👍👍👍👍👍
Purchased a reduced pull weight trigger spring for my Winchester Model 70 and was easy as pie to install and has reduced my trigger pull to a perfect crisp pull but light enough to stay on target and tighten up my grouping. MCARBO has excellent instructions on YouTube as well as printable ones to make it a question free fix that can be performed with a few household tools. Definitely will purchase a second spring for my other model 70 now that i see the results. Happy Shooting !
