As described in the presentation, the M-70 trigger spring lightened the trigger pull weight of my rifle, but not to the extent that it became unmanageable. This little spring probably saved me the cost of a Timney trigger. Mcarbo's folks shipped the spring promptly after I made the order and followed up to ensure I got my order, despite being a Canadian customer, they ensured that I was able to install the spring, and was satisfied with the results. Deal with confidence.

Changed the spring in a M70 300 WSM, factory was adjusted years ago to 3.5 lbs and with new spring 2.1 lbs. If I put the rifle on safe, move safe to middle position and then immediately to fire position sometimes I get 3lbs, not always. If I work bolt, put on safe, then middle position and work bolt then immediately to fire position always 2.1 lbs. Any suggestions to eliminate variation?
Took longer to watch the video than to install this spring. I didn't test pull weight either spring. The trigger went from shit to sweet for under twenty bucks. The mcarbo videos are the best.
Used MCARBO trigger springs in two of my Pre-64 Model 70s. Spring is a little long, however, I installed in less than 10 min. Appears to work fine.

Replacing this spring was very simple. The factory spring had a long heavy pull, the replacement was short and light. I recommend using this trigger spring.
The Model 70 spring is a fantastic upgrade for my rifle. The trigger pull was a horrible 5 + lbs. It is now 26 oz,s. the installation was simple and went just like the m.carbo video shows.

Model 70 post 2008 spring. Installation was very easy after watching the video. I think it took more time to watch the video then to do the job. The trigger weight after installation is noticeably lighter and just about perfect for a hunting rifle. Would highly recommend to anyone that has this rifle.
Ordered this lighter spring after watching the u-tube video. I cannot believe how easy it was to replace. This special lighter spring made a world of difference on my model 70 trigger. Now after watching your video on trigger gauges I think I need a digital pull gauge.
Installed the Model 70 spring kit and it made a major difference in trigger pull weight. I don't have a way to actually measure the difference but it feels so much lighter. The instruction video was very helpful.
Very simple to install, and end result is quite pleasing. Pulls right at 2.5lbs. I was thinking about replacing the trigger altogether until I ran into this, thought I would try it. Love it, save tons of money. Keep up the good work guys!

If anyone is questioning what this amazing trigger spring by MCARBO can do for your Winchester Model 70 then prepare to be amazed. In less than 10 minutes I went from a 6 lb 10 oz factory trigger pull down to a 2 lb 8 oz trigger pull. This has to be the simplest, least expensive and easiest upgrade I have ever done. My only regret is not making the change to MCARBO sooner!!!
